This is an amazing set! The paints are nice and thick and a wonderful bright color selection for any kind of painting with the original color names too like burnt umber, yellow ochre etc. (except those two paints were in the opposite bottles but that’s okay) The paint pictures are actually on canvas boards to paint the picture or could honestly paint over and use for your own painting. It comes with a ton of paint brushes -two kinds.This is great for a paint party, or a super good and cost efficient option for a personal paint starting set.

I've wanted to host a paint party at my home for quite awhile, but I haven't yet since I'm not sure I could convince my friends to attend. Several of them are reluctant to participate because they feel that they don't have any artistic skills. This set should help with that.AmazingSpark's 12 Set Paint and Sip Kit for Adults contains 8"x10" preprinted canvases ready for painting. Those hesitant to participate now can paint in the lines - it's almost like an adult coloring book on canvas! I like that the set came with small reference photos to help with the painting process, but anything goes in terms of color. I feel like I could get friends to become more comfortable with the paint party concept with this set, allowing us to branch out to less regimented projects in the future.I love that the set came with enough supplies for 12 people, and the variety of paint colors is fantastic. I would have liked the set even more if it had included a wider selection of paint brushes (only 3 per person) as well as easels.Really good set that I'll use to make my paint party happen!

I think the total quantity of things you get is good for the price: 12 canvases, a lot of paint, brushes and mixing trays. There is also "example" pictures to guide you in color schemes, etc. I got this for my daughter to help add to things she can do over the summer for activities as she loves painting. It does not come with a mini-easel which is shown in the pictures. To be fair it's not listed in the "contents" so not deceptive just would have been cool if it was included.

Although we're all the creative type, there are different levels of artists in the family. So while my sister who studied art was pleased that it was free form painting (and not a color-by-number type of thing), there were others who appreciated the example guides. The Flower Lady set was a bit intimidating for some of us beginners, but I personally like that there are other canvas choices we could order that seem easier to follow. We all had fun either way. Great paint color selection, especially if you know how to blend and mix colors.

The canvases have somewhat of a waxy feel to them so, naturally, I was a little concerned about how the paint might actually take to the canvas but, that was an unnecessary concern - the paint took very well to the canvas. Unfortunately, I did have to layer the paint on a little thicker than I would've liked to cover up the default outlines provided on the canvases but, I actually think it forced me to add some texture into the painting and it truly does look amazing. I don't know a whole lot about paint itself but, the quality of this paint seems nice, it's certainly comparable to acrylic paints I've gotten from major art suppliers. Like, I'm no artist, but I actually managed to impress myself with this kit. My husband, daughter, and myself each painted one and we had a blast doing so. We really like how the seller included miniature printed copies of the examples paintings in this product's post, lets you follow along with their chosen color scheme if you want or, at the very least, get an idea of some color blends you can implement in your own version of the painting. I could definitely see us getting another set like this as a birthday party activity, I'm sure that would be loads of fun, too! I think this kit is really good for beginning artists. 10/10 recommend.

I loved this little party set. It comes with paints, brushes, a little mixing tray, and the flat canvases. There are also miniature printouts of what the final product should look like. This could be fun for kids, but it seems like the designs are more intricate and geared towards young adults or older. What I don't like, though, is that it doesn't have a color key or anything like that. You just look at the pictures and try to pick the closest color or mix the right color. Or you can just color it however you want. But overall, it's a good set with everything you need and a good value.
