The only challenge I have with this is the pole is made of sections which screw together but they're not aligned perfectly (they're off by a fraction of a millimeter), which is required for the handles to easily slide over the joints. It can take a bit of force to slide to another section. Other than that, they've greatly improved my setup time for videography.

PROS:* The two arms are really nice, smooth operating, and super rugged.* The base is a little loose in the tolerances at the hinged section but seems sturdy and rolls OK on heavy duty wheels* inspires confidence that it would be able to hold up quite a bit of weight, but I'm using it mainly for a camera standCONS:* The 4 poles together on base is 8'4" tall so it won't fit in a standard residential American height room* Additionally since the arm is approx 7" tall the max height of pole should be * However with just using 3 poles the finished height is 75" tall and that seems like a reasonable height to be able to slide the arm + light modifier over the top of the pole and have it fit in an 8 foot tall room.* That leaves you with one spare pole and you very well may need that in the long run if you plan to build and break down the entire pole often. The threads are such that the pole wall thickness on the female thread is on the thin side (IMHO) and may be susceptible to be easily damaged. Must be especially careful not to cross thread. The unit I received had one of the 4 poles with a very slightly dented female thread end but it kept the pole from being able to be threaded to another section. Could I have attempted to fix it? Yeah, maybe, but it probably wouldn't be perfect so I'd have to jiggle with that wonky thread forever. There is no option to just get a replacement post section so Amazon sent me a whole new complete replacement. On receipt of 2nd unit I just grabbed one section of pole from that new box only to find that it wouldn't thread on to my pole because the replacement section had it's female threaded end was ever so slightly out of round. The next section out of the box was OK so now I have 4 good clean sections in hand.* In summary, IMHO, these poles are fine if you plan to screw them together and keep them assembled but if you plan to break them down repeatedly or worse to pack them into travel bag and use them often on the road I think you're going to invariably damage the threaded ends and then a worthless item. I have my spare 4th section taped and padded at both ends and will put it in a safe spot to be called on if I somehow damage the 3 section assembly that I'm using.

I don’t think I’ve ever given anyone five stars. I carefully unwrapped the box because I figured it was going to be selling this thing back. I was shocked at the quality. Absolutely shocked. They’re not just hollow tubes or solid and actually too high to even use all the pieces to the ceiling. The grips are really strong And well-made. The only thing I would suggest is mounting a ball between the camera and the grip because the grip Arm is about a quarter inch or an eighth of an inch different from the pole to the end. It was easy to adjust that with the ball. Excellent excellent piece of machinery. I was going to buy one for about $1000 online.

I bought this to hold a camera for studio and on location sport portrait shoots. I like to sit down behind the camera and it’s so nice to be able to wheel this out of the way, stand up, and then roll it back. The legs fold straight up against the post, which makes it easier for packing. The handles are sturdy but slide up and down easily and stay put. The wheels are 3 inch hard polyurethane and will probably outlast the legs themselves. The aluminum legs are probably the weak point but definitely strong enough for its intended use. (I wouldn’t stand on this thing and ride it across the floor.)One of the three pole sections has a female screw mount so you can put an attachment post at the top. The other ones have a wider screw to attach the poles together tightly.
