I bought this scale for some precise ingredient measuring for my hobbyist chemistry projects. It's super accurate and the digital display is easy to read, even in my dimly lit apartment. The glass windshield is a nice touch for keeping things clean. It's a bit pricey, but worth it for the precision.

This came incredibly well packaged and was easy to unbox and setup. Leveling was quick and easy, and came with a full size printout to explain how to calibrate it.The glass wind shield doors all slide open and close easily and can use from sides or top, or, if you don't need to be accurate quite down to the level where a breath of wind can throw off a measurement, it's easy to remove.I was a little annoyed at how slow the response was to adjustments. I would add a drop to my beaker, and it would take 3-4 seconds to fully settle and update.I looked through the instructions and found that there's a few adjustments which you can dig into, like level of filtering, sensitivity, and speed. Once I tuned in the settings to how I want, this thing is much, much faster to respond to changes. Nearly instantaneous.The display is big and bright. I don't have a way to test the serial output, but it's nice to know it's there.The only reason I'm taking a star off is because the buttons are the cheapest, most unsatisfying, inconsistent I've experienced in a long time. For a piece of equipment that's over $400, I expect something like the buttons to feel good, but on this, they don't. The part you press doesn't properly line up under the button part of the plate, and you have to press them so hard that it flexes the frame enough to make measurements go wild just from using tare.It honestly feels like any of the buttons could just stop working at any time. I can't believe how terrible the interface feels to use.For the price, you have many options, and I wouldn't choose this if I could have something with equal capabilities that has better buttons.

I am very impressed with the functionality and build quality of the UXILAII SCIENTIFIC Analytical Balance. It was securely positioned inside it's packaging which ensure all parts arrived in perfect condition. Whenever ordering sensitive and glass parts like this I am nervous about transit damage. This was not the case and a large amout of packing material was included.Upon first using the balance it was surprisingly accurate. But, you should be sure to follow the included calibration instructions first. Easy to complete.The balance offers a highly precise measurement in a contained environment with a glass draft shield surrounding the balance pan. This allows for uninterrupted measurements without input from external variables like wind and dust.In addition, be sure to use the leveling feet which can be spun and adjusted under the front of the balance. This will help you to level the machine.To sum up my review of this balance, I feel that it has a better value than others on the market. I see similar products online for $1000+ which offer the same functionality. The item was secure and well protected. It works perfectly and offers precise measurements.
