I wear medium to large in gloves, and these fit very comfortably. They are more flexible out of the box than most other welding gloves I've got, which is very helpful when positioning your material, especially under a hood. The reinforced/extra layered sections were thoughtfully planned out. Each reinforced spot happens to align with a hole in one of my many well loved pairs of welding gloves, so obviously I need the reinforcement. For under $20, these gloves are a great value, and I'm confident I will get plenty of life out of them.

I have medium to large hands, and these fit, uh, like a glove. They're well-made and of decent split leather, but they fit my hands snugly with just a little room to spare. Not nearly as loose as standard work gloves. I can't see them fitting well for someone with bigger hands. These are lined with a cotton-like material and are comfortable. Because they're not insulated, I would hesitate to suggest you might be able to hold hot items for any extended period of time. That said, you'll be able to protect your hands if you're quickly moving a burning log, grilling, or grabbing your cast iron pan from over a campfire. They do have an extra layer of leather at significant burn or wear points on the palm, thumb and forefinger. These would also probably be good for some animal handling where teeth and claws might be a concern. I assume they'd work for welders, but since I'm not one I'm guessing.

Got these because I got a bad burn when a pan I was carrying with my older kind of worn out hot pads that wound up burned through. Thought these gloves might be the answer. My son told me I should try welding gloves if I was going to carry hot pans any distance. I have small hands so these were really big on me. These are thin. I tried carrying a pan from the oven to the dining table and these were not so great. The heat transferred through the gloves. Glad I didn't get the burns I had from the hot pad but the pan was incredibly uncomfortable carrying as I felt the heat. Wound up buying new hot pads that were thick.
