This 4 Pack Grinder Wood Carving disc set is mediocre at best. I was hoping to use the to remove a grape vine from my chain link fence, but these wore down very very very quickly and left me with barely anything done. I was very careful to avoid the metal fence and only got the vine, so I didn't dull them on that. I was able to get some of it removed, but was left with lots to do after having all 4 discs go so dull that they were burning the wood instead of removing it.This set it nothing I could recommend.

I got these to grind small stumps on my property. These worked well for this application.These are a consumable part, they won't last forever as the teeth wear, they are not really servicable to sharpen. For soft wood species these took the small 1"-4" stumps flush to the ground pretty easily. Takes a little patience as I milled the small stumps down, but the tool turned the stump into fine sawdust pretty easily! The discs with the rounded edges were my favorite. They lasted 5-6 stumps before the teeth were starting to give up, but onve of the stumps was seemingly hard, so maybe if I didn't do that one, the teeth wouldn't have given up. Personally, I would buy just the rounded ones, as those seemed to be the best, but for the price of this 4 disc set, they are very reasonable and a great value.
