First off: the description says “Antique Vintage Seam Ripper”. This is NOT an antique NOR is it vintage. It’s supposed to LOOK antique or vintage because of the finish. Second, it’s small. I did see the size on the product description page but I think I saw the centimeter measurement first and that’s what stuck in my brain (8.2 cm/3.23 in). It actually is a nice size to put in a small travel kit but I knocked a star off because it did not come with any type of cap. Seam rippers are sharp! So, I had to supply my own makeshift cap. It will look good next to my black & gold Featherweight machine and it would be a cute gift item for someone who likes antiques.

Cute but functional, nice antique looking handle, easy to hold and easy to use. Needle sharp point makes seam ripping much easier, larger handle makes it easy to hold and safer to use.
