Bracket was quick and simple to install. Two weeks after in installed it, I moved to another apartment where the door opened in the reverse direction. Switching the bracket over to the other side was very easy. Very satisfied

This mount is great for apartments or condos where no drilling is allowed. It was easy to setup and again no drilling. My ring doorbell fit nicely.

I have to send back because my screen doors block the camera’s view but the device itself was easy to setup in in minutes, requires no drilling, holds the doorbell securely in place, and have no issues with opening or closing my door. I really wish I could keep it.If you don’t want to drill and would like something fairly priced with easy setup, this would make a good choice.

I was in the hospital three years ago and while I was in the hospital, my landlord and my dad put a video doorbell in my door because I don’t have a doorbell and they thought it would be good for me to be able to see who’s at my door before I went all the way downstairs to open things up because I have a stairwell of a private stairwell that leads down to my front door of my apartment. So I got a new doorbell and we had a little bit of trouble with the antitheft device because it’s got a really big knob on the inside that you have to turn to tighten things and it sticks out a little bit your door frame. It doesn’t totally clear your door frame if you know what I mean, we had to sand down or I should say we had to drill down because we didn’t have the proper tools we had to drill the frame of my apartment door. We had to drill it down to make room for that big knob that tighten things up in the back can get past the door frame and then lock up for the night but other than that I’m really happy to have the antitheft device as well as the new doorbell because I have a neighbor that has figured out how to not be detected on the doorbell because the first generation of video doorbells. They didn’t have a very wide scope of the camera, but the new ones have a much better all around picture of what’s going on around your front door. For me it’s my front porch so I can see the entire porch so my neighbor can no longer just go off and jump off the edge of the porch and step on my plants in the garden just to avoid being detected on the video doorbell, but I can also see better up and down in terms of I can see when a package has been delivered whereas before the view of the doorbell wasn’t wide enough or tall enough from ceiling to floor to see that far down, so the new doorbell is great because it has a really wide view from left or right floor to ceiling of everything going on and when I ran into a couple of witches, I called the ring number and they were awesome. They were really nice. They walked me through everything and so far I’m really happy with everything that I purchased the antitheft device especially because now nobody can just take the doorbell or mess with it. Because the old one that I had you put it on the bracket and then you screw it in and anyone could go and order that special little screwdriver and unscrew it and run away with your doorbell and now they can’t do that so that’s great. I live in a neighborhood that’s a little dicey, in fact it’s more than just a little dicey… And I like having the doorbell because there have been times things have happened and people have come to me to ask me for the footage or I’ve had footage I’ve had to bring to the landlord and it’s just been a blessing because if you have a camera on your door of people are less likely to do things around your property that are illegal or dangerous. Of course there’s the occasional idiot that’s going to steal something from your front yard and not care about the video doorbell but for the most part, it’s a really positive thing to have and I wish everyone would get a video doorbell because it would make the neighborhoods in general so much safer.

I am glad I ordered this for my apartment. I moved into an apartment that I thought was safe and without a lot of nonsense, but I was so wrong. This is very sturdy, and a good price. I am just waiting for the camera I ordered on Black Friday to put it on my door. I can't wait to try it out.
