This is the first video doorbell that I have had so I don't have anything to compare it with. That said, it seem solid and well made. It was (relatively) easy to install and after a bit of trial and error I got it to work with both our phones.The camera is clear and responds well to movement. The 6 second free cloud storage is sufficient for most purposes backed up by the sd card. The little extension ringer is OK buy doesn't seem to have much range especially in a big old farmhouse with thick walls. I managed to find a flat smooth surface to stick the bell to without the need to screw it into the doorframe. I like the fact that it is wireless and has rechargeable batteries which hopefully will have a good lifespan between charges. So far I am very pleased with it and not sure what a more expensive, named product would offer.

Definitely an upgrade on the previous model. The device has the same form factor and functionality. The field of view is much wider. WiFi connectivity seems to be more robust. There is still a slight lag between pressing the doorbell and getting notifications but it's not a deal breaker.For this price point this is comparable to the best brands out there. Doesn't need any subscriptions at all but the $40 a year cloud storage + AI is super affordable compared to some of the other brands.

It is a nice doorbell! It function pretty well I do have it connected to my Amazon echo. I gave it 4 stars because I can’t move the camera if they are not directly in front of it and or walk in front you will miss view. But for the price it’s pretty good.

All the previous reviewers were right on... this camera is very sharp and clear. For an 81-year old, it was a bit complicated for me to set up, but a breeze for my middle son. After we cranked it up, I found that I can now watch the world go by from my easy chair, not my rocking chair (although I still use my rocking chair).A small bit of a learning curve on how to use it. I especially like the door "siren". It will wake the whole neighborhood, if not the dead. It's already scared the cat clean outta his skin and off our front porch. I know full well it'll do the same for any mischief-makers.The night is no challenge for the camera. Even with no porch light on, I can still see clearly all of our front yard, our cars, the cars that go by, the people walking by and yes, the cat. The ambient light (one street light and a few solar lights in our yard) provide enough light to look like daylight (really). I'm often up late at night... and now I feel much safer with this little gadget on hand.It is taking a bit of trial & error on how to set the intercom through the phone & camera, but we're making progress. I feel confident that that will be as good as the camera. Haven't yet needed to use the motion detector either. We'll see. Haven't used the cloud storage yet either. Likely won't either.All-in-all, I am totally tickled pink with this device. Delighted with its quality. Delighted with fast delivery. Delighted that I can both see and hear the cat.I have posted 4 pics from the doorbell... one full daylight >>> one at dusk (see car with headlights on >>> one with porch light off (full darkness) >>> one with porch light on (full darkness)PS... we don't have a cat. The neighborhood stray has chosen us to take up with us on our front porch. My wife feeds it. I have named it "Clapton", cause it has only one eye, like Jeremy's cat in "Zits" comic strip.

Je suis tout simplement fan de de cette caméra sonnette!!Une installation simple et rapide, avec l’application très intuitive, une fixation robuste et cette version sans abonnement a tout pour plaire!! À chaque détection de mouvement, l’application enregistre 6sec environ, ce qui suffit largement, il suffit ensuite de basculer sur la caméra en direct pour voir +On peut répondre en appel quand quelqu’un sonne et on peut aussi parler si on voit que quelque chose se passe devant notre porte même si la personne n’a pas sonné.Vraiment je ne lui trouve aucun défaut pour le moment, je suis tout sous le charme et je vous conseille vivement de l’acheter :)

This doorbell appears to be very similar quality as reputable brands. Unlike other brands which require subscriptions to store and access data more than a day beyond its recorded date, this one has app cloud and onboard storage, which I appreciate because I don't like paying rent on my own data. Camera quality is very good and clear, fisheye angle so you can see the entirety of the subject even if they're very close. This doorbell comes with the interior chime, which is typically an option on other systems. Sound is clear and loud, but also adjustable volume. The camera is rechargeable battery however the chime runs on AAA batteries. I just began to use the cam, so I will have to see how it holds up to the 100+ degrees heat of summer, and the subzero temperatures of winter. But so far I am encouraged this will be a quality addition to the house to enhance security and convenience.

This is my second ring doorbell from XTU, I had the J9, and this is the upgraded J9 Plus. It's also a doorbell that doesn't require a subscription, just needs an SD card. It has 180° coverage, more than the previous 166° coverage. The setup was extremely easy. Just removed the previous device from the same app and added the new one, followed the instructions, and it was connected! So it's very user friendly.The feed from the camera seems more vibrant in color and sharp than it was on the previous model, and does have more coverage. I can tell it captures more because the side of the door frame shows now. So definitely good feed, captures on motion detection.The two way sound works perfectly so you can speak to someone at the door (slight lag but that's expected). The speaker that comes with it is a nice addition as well. I just keep it on my table.Same as the previous model, I opted for an SD card instead of paying for the cloud. Initially with the previous doorbell, the device helped me format it to work with it. This time, I just put it into this new doorbell and it was ready. So this was also seamless, very easy to save recordings without needing to subscribe!It seems to have a more powerful battery, so might last longer than the previous doorbell which lasted about 1 month on a full charge. I just installed it today so I don't know, but my guess is it'll be similar or last maybe 1 week more.Finally, in the photo you see the ring doorbell in one of those third-party case that attaches to the side of the door so you don't need to drill into your door. I show this so that you can see that the XTU camera doorbell is compatible with these as well! I'm extremely happy with the doorbell. 100% recommended!! I'll continue using XTU products for sure!

Honestly, this doorbell camera has been way better than I expected. The video quality is super clear, even at night, and the motion detection is pretty spot on. The app is easy to use (took me a minute to get used to it, but no big deal and great thing is no cost its just free), and everything runs smoothly.The amazing thing is 180 pan view its super good. Thats my second doorbell. Setup was simple, and the fact that there’s no monthly fee is a huge plus. So far, no complaints—it just works the way it should. Would definitely recommend!
