Compass doesn’t not work at all. Needle doesn’t point north. Which is the most important part of it. If you used this compass to navigate you would be LOST for sure.

The needle works, but not as functional as one you'd get at Walmart (for similar price)... Usually you can see the index line underneath the bearing lines on the rotating bezel, but that's not the case with this one. No red 'shed' for the "put the red in the shed" mantra. If you're looking for a user friendly compass, don't get this one. If you're looking for one that a child would be entertained by, this will do.

The compass does not even work. It does not point north , it just points whatever direction
