This shipped quickly and was well packaged in an outer cardboard box that was devoid of any printing. Inside, the plain box was a drawer style box that held the actual matcha set. It was very nicely packaged and would be very easy to wrap and gift.I got the blue set which is a very pretty mid-tone gray-blue with brown glazing, with a matching ceramic whisk holder (the thing that looks like a buttplug.) It also came with a bamboo stir stick and whisk, these seem to be good quality. It also came with a small microfiber towel/mat that in comparison to the other items seems a little cheap.Overall, I would buy this set again.

I'm thoroughly impressed how well made this set looks in person! While I won't claim to be a matcha connoisseur I will be able to chime in and say the experience of whisking and almost engaging in a little project was super fun.For those wondering if the set actually makes a difference in the drinking experience then you'll be pleased to hear its not just a gimmick! The whisked variant had a smoother feel and flavor profile felt a bit more full if that makes any sense. Now I have no experience in comparing matcha whisking sets but, this one had a premium feel from the heft of the bowl to the bristles on the whisk itself if that has anything to attribute to quality. Aesthetics definitely hit the mark on this one!Overall I think this could be a wonderful gift to yourself or anyone remotely interested in tea/matcha!Hope the insight helps,Cheers! :^)

This is a finely crafted set, and you can tell much thought went into this kit. Not only are the materials durable and high quality (the ceramic on the matcha bowl in particular is dazzling). The whisk is a really nice touch, as this can easily be the most expensive thing one purchases for matcha sets (aside from the matcha itself, of course, especially if it is ceremonial grade). It has a lot of counter appeal, as the speckled appearance of the bowl feels especially made for those "bring out the fancy china" moments. For someone who is trying to make my mornings a bit more mindful and meditative, this is a great accompaniment to the days where I need a quick dose of caffeine and an easy cleanup. This set also happens to come with a nicely-branded cloth for easy cleanup. Whether you are racking your brain for what to give someone as a gift, or wanting something a bit fancier for your own tea ceremonies, this is the one to go with.I got audible gasps from my friends and family.

First off, Bring Your Own Matcha.Perfect little set to get that foamy matcha green tea when in the mood. The bowl has a decent heft. The whisk comes with a stand/holding to held keep the prongs separated after use.The scoop... I'll admit I'm still getting used too.The shifter and tea cloth are as is.I'll just state something feels right with the set, over trying to use the milk frother wand (and usually giving up) to get the froth in the matcha.Just make sure you have some Matcha powder (went with Ceremonial Grade myself) to be used with the set.

It's a lovely gift for someone bougie in your life, who maybe spends a little too much money on matcha lattes anyway. This set is lovely and has everything you need including the matcha whisk holder which can be rare to find together. I also love the handle on the sieve as it's more ergonomic and looks nicer than the usual metal wire ones you find. The glaze on the bowl is also beautiful and I think the blue is a crowd-pleaser. Nothing gets the clumps out and the froth going as well as a bamboo whisk so this is the ideal set - just make sure to wet the whisk's tines in the same warm water before using or else they will break off. There is a QR code inside for a free 30 grams culinary grade matcha (you pay shipping).

This matcha set is very nice. It comes in a very strong box for storing it, and it comes with everything you need (except the matcha tea) to whisk up some of the frothy green beverage. Everything in it is high quality and doesn't have a cheap feel. Overall, I'm very impressed. The underside of the box has instructions for making a matcha latte. It's a little unclear how exactly to measure the tea with the little wooden spoon it comes with, but it has an authentic Japanese feel while doing it. Now I just need a kimono and some Japanese tea cups and I'll feel like I'm drinking matcha in Japan! It's certainly not necessary to have for making matcha but it's definitely way more fun to make it with this set.It would definitely be a great gift or just something to use yourself. Just get some high quality matcha tea (best sourced from Japan) to go with it and you'll be ready for making matcha tea Japanese style.

This set is beautiful. The raku glaze is lovely, and the shape of the bowl is perfect for whisking and then holding the bowl to drink from---it even has slight indents spaced around the rim to use as thumb grips when sipping. It's a complete set, with bowl, whisk, sieve, bamboo tea spoon, whisk stand and tea towel. The set includes a QR code for a free 30g of Aprika Matcha culinary grade tea. Shipping cost still has to be paid but it's nominal, for me it was about 1/5 the cost of the ceremonial grade Matcha I'd already bought elsewhere to try with this set. I haven't received the Aprika Matcha yet so I can't say how it is, compared to the ceremonial grade I'm using from a different brand.I'm finding the set is easy to use and clean, even as a Matcha noob I'm able to froth up a respectable foam using the whisk in this set. Just a treat to use, really.Arrives in a sturdy, drawer-style gift box. Would make a fantastic gift for the Matcha curious or experienced.
