Your cart is empty. AprilAire introduced the first evaporative humidifier for forced air furnace systems back in 1954. Since that time, AprilAire continues to lead the industry in whole home humidification systems.
Our evaporative humidifiers work by piping water into the distribution tray located at the top of the humidifier. The water is uniformly distributed across the width of the tray and through a scientifically designed system of outlets. It flows by gravity over the Water Panel evaporator. Dry, hot air from the forced air furnace moves through the moisture-laden Water Panel evaporator. Natural evaporation takes place, meaning the water is turned to vapor, and the humidified air is circulated throughout your home.

A complete set of parts to repair and Aprilare humidifier. All the parts were just like factory parts. My Aprilare humidifier had a failure of the water tube. Local repair places did not have a suitable replacement part long enough so they suggested replacing the humidifier. However, the water tube in the kit was just like in length the failed one and worked perfectly.

The scale control insert (4217) and the water distribution tray (4218) for the 560 Humidifier Series is cheap. The two parts never locked together, the plastic clip on the distribution tray was not tall enough to lock into the scale control insert (4217) which made it awkward to place into the unit. On the videos we watched you heard everything snap into place. The 10 water panel was the same as the others out there, we used to buy case but the price are not there yet.

This Aprilaire kit has all the pieces you need to replace from the solenoid to the filter. I had an old filter case with a different diffuser at the top. This new one improves the way the water channels water over the surface of the filter.

My 12 year old humidifier was leaking. I checked everything and came to the conclusion that it was either the water panel distribution tray or the housing. Saw this on Amazon and thought it was kind of expensive but it was cheaper than the furnace company to come and diagnose and fix. The parts fit perfectly and were easy to swap out. I like that they even included a new filter. It was worth it and I recommend for the 550 model.

No dislike, this is the element in the humidifier where the hot air from the furnace contacts the water in the humidifier element.

Direct replacement part. Would be nice if they had a more flexible hose. Ran the hose it under hot water to help bend it into place.
