Great product worth the price

This is a really nice quality paddle for the price. It's got a nice big face to give you plenty of power, but also a nice line down the center to help part the water and make your stroke feel effortless. It has push-button locks for three positions (flat or feathered approximately 45* in either direction), which is not a lot of adjustability, but plenty for most folks and most uses. If you're a serious enough paddler to really need that extra adjustment, chances are you're looking at a higher end paddle anyway. I have the same paddle in the carbon fiber version, which is a whole lot lighter and a whole lot more adjustable, but the price difference is significant. The aluminum shaft is really not all that heavy, and many paddlers actually prefer something with a little heft to it. For a novice or intermediate paddler, a little more weight to the shaft can help you develop nice even strokes. I was looking for an extra paddle for when I want to bring along a guest who doesn't have their own equipment, and when I saw this one for $80 (and had a nice gift card to boot), I jumped at the chance.
