Still makes noise but less than my previous pump. Pumping lots of air through a ball for my 1 goldfish.

Well, it worked for 6 months. It was fine but then started to make a loud noise. I checked the cotton filter and it was OK. Husband opened it and found that the magnet was vibrating more than usual. It wasn't pumping air at all. I have another (Top Fin brand) that's still going strong at 4 1/2 years with a couple of interruptions and ended up using it for my axolotl tub (2.5G).

As others have said, it’s a bit noisier than others. My main issue is the hose disconnecting from the pump. That could mean disaster to lose aeration for too long.

Plus: It did come with nice airline and a one-way check valve. Plus: Inexpensive. Con: Only lasted just under 7 months. Still makes noise. Open it up, very cheap Transformer - that was incredibly hot to the touch. Tried checking everything, seems like the throw is off or the transformer has become too weak. Not a lot to adjust in there. Disappointed, but not upset because - the price.

Too loud! Since it’s a Beta fish he doesn’t need the air pump I only leave it on a few hours a day.
