This is the first Aqueon filter I bought that I did not like or have it work well. water goes through ok but the filter elements did not work at all no matter what I tried so I used an Aqueon Quiet flow LED PRO CA10 I had a spare from my shrimp tank I was only using it on a 5.5 gallon tank but with in less than 2 hours the water cleared up and all are happy

I've had two of these filters for 4 months and they both quit working. Worked great for about a month, then started making a very loud gurgling sound. I took them both apart to clean/fix the issue and even called customer service to try and fix the issue but ultimately they stopped filtering my water :( waste of money imo

This works perfectly for my 5.5 gallon betta tank. So many internal filters in this size range seem too bulky to me, but this is the perfect size for my tank and does a great job.

I loved this filter in the beginning. It kept the tank nice and clean. The bad thing is the filters in it are one particular one and the ones recommended for it don't fit. Anyway, I put it in my office Bettas tank. I bought it in February. It's now July and the whole system stopped working. I'm pretty disappointed because now I have to buy a whole new one. Do I risk it and replace it with the same one? Or buy a new style? This one is quiet and nice.

This works well for my guppy tank. I have a sponge filter in the tank too but wanted something more to help keep the tank clean (20L). It's very quiet and the flow is super slow but that's what I was looking for as I didn't want the fry to be blown to smithereens. You do have to rinse out the filter once a week but it's not a big deal. Highly recommend if your looking for a filter with slow flow for fry and shrimp tank.

Purchased but no info on plug, bought from Amazon UK. Why would you sell something without UK plug for UK purchase. I've ordered an adaptor at nearly the price of the filter itself!! UK buyers beware!!!

This is a strong filter! I have it in my 20 gallon turtle tank. Every time I need to clean the tank I lift up the main tube attach a hose and run it straight down the drain. Works so well! Great filter and keeps the tank clean in between water changes!

I have multiple tanks this filter model is working great. I purchased for a guppy tank that always seems to have a few babies, the tank is lower to the ground making water changes with vacuum tricky. The cleaning feature doesn't work out for me as I had hoped, it's not far enough away from the tank to empty tank water so minus a star. I still need to find the right sized tubing to make that work. The filter itself is effective,and will accommodate replacement media that is cut to fit. I have the cheaper flat glass top on this tank so filter installation is ideal with nothing hanging over or lowering water level under the lid. The suction cups were why I purchased and this filter is working out great so far. Noise level is average to fairly quiet.
