I put these into two sets of shoes to see how well they helped out my plantar fasciitis. The nice thing about them is they are clear. But two issues cropped up and the second is a deal-breaker.First, the adhesive is poor. After only a few hours in both pairs, these silicon-type supports slipped and no longer stayed in place.Second, the design of the arch is unusual in that there is a steep drop off to the inside with a ridge forming the changeover to the larger, flatter part. I found them to be really uncomfortable as that ridge cut into my foot base. They provide a good rise, in that they are thick enough, but the steep inner drop off creates an uncomfortable placement for the sole of one's foot.Cannot recommend.

I like these. They’re simple and felt good versus my having no arch support at all. However, arches are funny things, and the best inserts are custom-made. That being said, the sticky side is on the top not the bottom - so you’re gonna be sticking it to whatever shoe insert is in your shoes (or buying one to stick it to) vice the shoe bed. I think it’ll work best if the spot is marked already on the insert like most running shoes seem to have. If not, you can stick and restick it a few times without it losing its adhesive to adjust; I had to do that to find my best point of comfort with these. Are they custom orthotics? No; but if they make you feel better while you’re waiting for your custom orthotics, or you don’t have that severe an arch problem where you need custom orthotics, then these may just fit the bill for you.

I have high arches, and any regular pair of shoes, even those that claim they are designed for high arches, cause me a lot of pain after walking for a short time. Aftermarket insoles do a good job at making up for this, but I recently bought some Brooks shoes that came with really nice gel insoles, so I was bummed that I had to give them up. Thanks to these, though, I'm able to use my old insoles without pain!Other reviewers mentioned that it was hard to figure out where to put these in the shoe, and I agree, it took some trial-and-error. Some instructions would be nice, but I figured it out eventually. The adhesive on the inserts can be re-stuck many times without losing their adhesion. I found that they worked best with the adhesive facing up, sticking to the bottom of the insole, and further forward than I expected.

I'm always trying out different kinds of insole and orthotic to help with my arches and these were a new idea to me. Simple enough, no full- or half-length insole to take up space in the shoe and make it too tight, and having just the arch support allows you to move it around so that it matches the position of your arch rather than having your foot conform to an orthotic. These are slightly squishy but also supportive so far. The base of each is sticky so you can move it around a bit until you get it in the right place, and then it stays put.So far, so good and I'm in that stage when my feet are still trying to work out what's going on under there, but I'm very positive about these. They fit well and aren't as uncomfortable than many other ideas I've tried in the past. Worth a try for sure, if you're in this market.

These supports are made of dense gel, with not very much give, and very high. They are too high for my feet (I have flat feet). However, my husband tried them and he really likes them. He has very high arches. They are well-made and I think they will last a long time. The material is very dense.I don’t know if they would work for feet that are much smaller than mine. I wear a women’s 8-9 and they were almost too long (extended too far forward towards my toes and back into my heel).I didn’t attach the adhesive as I could tell when I first put them in my shoes that they were too high for my feet. So I can’t speak to how well the adhesive works.Lastly, this type of arch support, the kind that comes without an attached insole, is harder to place in closed shoes. However, this type does give you more flexibility as to where you attach it in your shoe. I imagine that they work best for some people a little further forward and others a little closer to the heel area.In my opinion, these arch supports have the potential to work well for people with high to very high arches, and longer feet.

If these could be offered in different heights for different arch heights, they may work really well. As it is, they don’t offer much of an improvement for me over a basic insole. I have really high arches and plantar fasciitis and my custom orthotics don’t fit in dress pumps. Having the hardest time finding anything to work. These definitely are not it but the material has promise. If your arches have fallen completely or you have flat feet, maybe they’ll work for you.
