The case doesn't feel the most sturdy. And in fact I was surprised that the case and the scale are all one unit. The positive is that the screen is protected. The downside is that the battery compartment could be expose more easily to water. If you can't figure out how to open the case, just push in on the protrusion, vs trying to lift it up. That stumped me for a moment. The scale itself appears to function well with reasonable accuracy. I really like the fact that grains are one of the measurement units so I don't have to convert back and forth constantly between grains and grams when matching bolts or arrows to broadheads. The included block for resting arrows or bolts on is a little weird and not sure how it will hold up because it seems to be uncoated ceramic of some sort. But the weight is good to hold things steady.Overall a fascinating product especially for the money.

I shoot a lot of cross bows currently I own 6 of different makes and design, some, actually most specify a grain weight, in archery everything is measured out in grain weight and its very important to follow manufacture's recommended bolt (cross bow) arrow grain weight if your making your own custom bolts and you want your crossbow to last very long which I do, this scale allow's me to know beyond the shadow of a doubt that Im operating withen the confines of the manufactures suggested grain weight's.

This is an ideal scale for archery purposes. There are six different units of measurements. Most importantly, it can display weight in grains, which is unusual for most small scales. It is perfectly shaped for weighing field tips, broadheads, inserts, nocks, etc. It also comes with a small little "arrow holder." You can tare / zero out the weight and then place your arrow shaft in the cradle to weight the shaft (or the completely assembled arrow).I will get a lot of use out of this scale when I rebuild my arrows during the off season. No complaints.

Compact inexpensive scale but it doesn’t come with a calibration weight which is kind of necessary. Small scales need to be re-calibrated often to make sure they are still weighing properly. All my other scales come with their own weight. My bad for assuming but again, I’ve ordered many of these through the years and they always come with a weight. So how do you know how accurate it is?… you don’t.

This scale is nice and compact. It comes with a holder to set an arrow on for weighing. Several different settings. The display is clear and easy to read. It's easy to change the measurement type also. Lid closes securely.

This is a very nice and surprisingly affordable archery scale. It measures in grains and seems accurate. A helpful device for the anal archer who likes to build his/her own arrows!

This scale works but is a little cheaply made. The thing that makes this an "archery scale" is the little piece that an arrow rests in.I know my arrows are 284 grains. As soon as I received the scale I put the arrow rest on the plate and zeroed the scale. I put an arrow on and balanced it, and it came out at 284.2 grains. The thing that knocks a star off for me is the lack of a calibration weight. Digital scales will lose their calibration over time. The scale can get out of calibration by a large amount and will need to be calibrated. All of my reloading scales have come with a calibration weight to reset the calibration. This little scale wants a 200g weight and says to find one at a store. I feel they really lost an opportunity to make the arrow rest the weight needed for calibration. For the price, this is a nice little scale for weighing arrows / points / vanes, etc. It would have been nice to have a calibration weight with it.I would recommend buying one with a dedicated calibration weight, and 3d print an arrow holder for it. If you don't want to spend a little more, this is a good scale, it just doesn't have a calibration weight.

This is a nice little scale for measuring grains. Seems to be accurate and it was easy to calibrate. Came with batteries - they are in the battery compartment but need the plastic taken off to operate. It also came with the arrow rest, which is handy to keep arrows balanced on the scale.
