Because of my age, and not being tech literate, I thought this purchase was going to be more difficult that it was. I contacted my internet provider to make certain that this item was compatible with their service, which it was. When the item was delivered, I plugged it in after attaching the necessary cables, and it has been doing the job ever since. I would recommend this item to anyone in the market.

It came as described looking brand new, the only thing it didn't come with was the part that doesn't come with is the part that goes into the wall, but that is supposed to be provided by Cox or if you don't want to wait you can buy one for a couple of bucks.
