First off, very happy I went with these over similar style products. Was easier than expected to get these down into the ground all the way. I did go into it prepared for it to be difficult, so here's my tips that made it easy... get yourself a 2in by 2ft auger drill bit beforehand, this will ensure the screw goes down near perfectly straight (and much easier), it'll also let you quickly know if the ground is able to accept the screw (i.e. no hidden massive rocks). If you get towards the end and it's not turning easily, use a dead blow hammer to tap the rebar, that worked for my final rotation. Lastly, save your back by putting a short 4x4 into the ground screw beforehand, drill a 3/8 hole in the top of the 4x4, then insert rebar and turn. Now you don't have to be on the ground or hunched over while turning them into the ground.As far as quality, time will tell! They are heavy and fedl very well built and welded. They are very very solid in the ground, no movement so much that bigfoot would stub his toe on them. I'm happy with them and glad I didn't go with the sledge-hammer style ground spikes,..thes ground screws felt much easier and final result more precise. Unless you're a regular John Henry with a sledge-hammer, stick with these.
