I liked the size of the gauge. Nice and readable.However, this item is useless as once I turned my key on to check and pump up gas pressure: The hose that connects to the Tee with a barbed end started leaking and then came apart after about 90 seconds and gas started squirting everywhere and caused what I believe to be a very dangerous situation.In an effort to try and salvage the new tool (as I hate returning stuff I purchased), I added one of the supplied hose clamps to the crimped hose connector but the hose was still just as loose on the Tee as per before. The pic I took seems to suggest that the barbs are rounded where they should be "sticking out" and "biting" into the internal diameter of hose. I thought about just cutting the crimped connector off and using a good hose clamp to tighten it up. But I feel that I should not have to modify a brand new piece of equipment to work correctly as paid for, Ugh!.Also to note is that I could not bleed any gas out of the bleeder valve so not sure if problem with bleeder valve or the Schrader valve not opening correctly.ALWAYS make sure you have a good fire extinguisher near you when you are working with anything as flammable and volatile as gasoline under pressure and be sure to wear safety glasses.I will send this one back unfortunately since who knows when this instrument will come apart next.

Nice set but the gauge had a cosmetic defect on it which annoyed me so returned. Didn't ever use it so can't say how well it worked but it looked very much like the one I borrowed from AutoZone which worked fine.

I planned to use this product to test the fuel line pressure, but the schraeder valve is in such an inaccessible place that I opted to forego the testing at this time since the engine appears to be receiving enough fuel to run properly. Don't want to start disassembling the engine for a problem that may not exist. I'll wait for a problem to occur before diving in. However, the tool looks like it's just what I'll need if I have to go deeper.

This is a good test kit, the only issue I have with it is that there isn't a fitting for a fuel rail on a 2.9 Ford Ranger, I ended up having to rent a kit from the local auto parts store just for the correct fitting. The kit works great for my 01 Silverado. I was able to perform a test on it yesterday and it I was done if 15 min. It would have been less time but had to remove a plastic cover off the top of the engine.They need to include the adapter for the Fuel Shrader Valve on the 1988 Ford Ranger fuel rail.
