This f6 is a great price for the value of this mic . It’s portable but packs a nice full low end with clarity .I was going to buy the Audix D6 , but I’d give this a try. I’m very glad that I did.

It sounds great for when I'm looking for I am not the best connoisseur of sound or food but I am very pleased with this microphone that allows me to record the drums while at the same time running the air conditioner in the living room during hot days :-)

The Audix F6 is part of the recently redesigned Fusion series of microphones, and is a great alternative to the companies "D" series lineup of microphones. Although the "F" series is slightly less expensive than it's "D" series counterpart, the sound quality and performance from both series are top notch, just slightly different. The F6 is designed, assembled, and tested in the USA from parts sourced from China and the US. This microphone excels at reproducing the low end frequencies of kick drums, bass cabs, & more. Since it's a dynamic mic it performs equally well in both live and studio applications. The included frequency response chart and my own ears reveal that the microphones "voice" is quite similar to a Shure Beta 52A. Audix offers a 3 year warranty. Recommended.
