This garden auger works very well and will easily drill holes in your garden so you can plant bulbs.I was very impressed by how easily it made the holes and also that the extreme length of the bit's shaft didn't cause any flexing problems while being used.I really liked how the length of the shaft allowed me to stand more upright while using this auger so there wasn't so much strain my back, like with shorter augers. One thing I will caution buyers of is that this auger should be that if you are going to use it with a cordless drill, use it with a more powerful drill that has a side handle. Going through softer soil with this auger is very easy and the hole forms effortlessly; but, once the auger hits harder soil or clay, then the auger will bite down hard and can cause the drill to kick out of your hands - or may strain your hands if you decide to try to muscle against the kickout. Even when I braced the drill on the left side of my body to prevent the drill from kicking out from my hands, there was considerable torque that can cause a very real bruise to your body or strain to your hands. I was thinking of taking off a star for this issue but this isn't caused by the auger but more in knowing how this type of bit can react so I left the rating as is since the device itself warrants it.

I recently got this 2x32-inch auger drill bit, and it has completely transformed how I handle gardening and outdoor projects. The extra-long design is a game changer—no more bending over or squatting to dig, saving my back and knees from unnecessary strain. And no more blisters or aching hands! What I Love About It:✅ Powerful & Durable: Made of heavy-duty steel with a thick, sturdy shaft, this auger is built to last. It handles tough soil, small roots, and compacted dirt with ease.✅ Easy to Use: Works perfectly with my cordless drill, making the process quick and hassle-free. It attaches easily to a standard 3/8" chuck drill and clears soil efficiently.✅ Fast & Efficient: The seven spiral blades and sharp triangular drill tip cut through dirt smoothly, saving time compared to manual digging.✅ Versatile: Perfect for planting bulbs, flowers, small trees, and even setting fence posts or umbrella poles. It’s a must-have for any garden or landscaping project.A Few Tips for Best Use:🔹 Use a powerful drill (at least 18V) to handle harder soil.🔹 If your soil is rocky, be cautious—this tool is strong, but rocks will still slow it down.🔹 Remember to lift the auger occasionally to remove loose dirt and keep drilling smoothly.Overall, this long-handle auger is a fantastic tool that makes digging faster, easier, and much more comfortable. Highly recommended for gardeners, DIYers, and anyone needing quick, deep holes!

This auger is quite large but is surprisingly light. It's very easy to use and works well to help dig holes. I used this to plant a number of things and it made quick work of the task. There are a decent number of rocks in the area I was drilling into but this auger held up well even after hitting a decent number of these.

We mainly got this to help aerate and mix our compost. It has been helpful in aerating but it's too narrow to mix much. It does a good job of making holes in the ground for gardening as well. The length is nice because we don't have to bend over too much to drill the holes. Fits into my hand drill just fine and stays in when in use.

This makes springtime bulb planting a breeze. No more squatting. It attaches to my drill and it works great. It is a good size for most bulb sizes. It's worth the money.

I recently picked up the Liedisess 2x32 inch auger drill bit to help with a project I’ve had on my list for a while -digging a five-foot hole in the front yard to pour concrete for a new light pole. I didn’t want to rent larger digging equipment, and I was curious if an auger attachment like this could make the job more manageable. After using it with my 36-volt drill, I can say it’s been a useful addition to the toolset. What this auger does well is loosen up compacted dirt effectively. The length of the bit -32 inches- means you can get deeper with less bending and repositioning. For a task like mine, where I needed depth more than width, the 2-inch diameter worked fine. It made it much easier to scoop the dirt out with a shovel once the soil was loosened up. I wasn’t expecting it to dig a perfectly clean hole on its own, but that’s not really what these are meant for. It’s more about breaking up the earth so the rest of the work becomes easier, and in that respect, it did what I needed.Running it on my 36-volt drill gave it enough torque to power through without bogging down. I also made sure to use the side handle attachment on the drill, which gave me better control and leverage, especially when the bit caught on a root or hit a patch of tougher soil. The auger handled those moments without twisting out or bending, which is something I was concerned about beforehand.I’m hoping the auger holds up over time, especially given the torque output of my 36v drill in low setting. So far, the build seems sturdy enough to handle it, but I’ll be keeping an eye on the wear. For now, though, it’s performed well and has made what would have been a very time-consuming job go smoother. It’s one of those tools that, when paired with the right equipment and a little bit of patience, makes a tough job feel much more manageable. And a tool I would recommend to anyone needing to make holes in the ground -this auger will help you.

This long 2" auger had been a a great addition to my seasonal gardening. I have a back condition and can't bend over. This fits my heavy duty cordless drill and it works the ground very well. I even used it as a Tiller and it processed the topsoil very well. I recommend
