With its ergonomic design, our repair hub reduces the stresses that occur during drilling. This, in turn, allows for an overall stronger drive. This repair hub is a 2-inch female hex. It can be welded to any standard auger bit and is compatible with any 2-inch hex drive shaft that has 3/4" or 5/8" pin holes. This repair hub measures 8” in length and has a diameter of 3 1/2”. It is hex all the way through. That makes it hard to weld a pipe on the inside to get it true, but welding the outside was fine.
