Ive had many vehicles over the years. I always lean on AVS bugshields and Window Visors. Always easy to install, always last forever, and always functions as i want them to. Kudos to AVS

Install was pretty much a breeze. I gave it 4 stars because the outer tabs did not hold the vent shade. I ended up using bumper plugs and it worked perfect! Vehicle is 2011 Highlander limited

Am giving it 3 stars due to how expensive it is!For a plastic little thingy, it’s very expensive in my book. Production cost was probably less than 5$.Capitalism at its finest! But it actually works!

Installed this on my 2013 Toyota Highlander, and it fits perfect! Great quality build on the plastic, and exact contour with the hood. Thank you!

The bug deflector fit perfectly, but I am only giving 4 stars due to the poor quality fasteners that were supplied, but this was expected from reading previous reviews. I replaced the nylon screws supplied with the fasteners with stainless steel screws which worked well.

Pretty cool product, looks good on my 2012 Ltd Highlander. One caution though, when you have the hood up getting ready to hook it up, make sure you draped the engine compartment so you don’t risk dropping the screws/ nuts into the unreachable engine compartment. It happened to me.

The company should provide extra plastic anchors for the outer holes. The holes line up however the bend in the plastic near the hole wasn't precise so I had to force the anchor which resulted in me breaking one. Had to make a special trip to Canadian Tire to buy a comparable one to complete the installation.

I bought this Bugflector shield for my 2013 Highlander. The holes lined up perfectly. The installation was easy, apart from the one stupid thing I did. I dry fit all the hardware to make sure things would line up - they did. I left everything in place as I started to screw in the anchors. As I worked on the left side plastic anchor, the right side plastic anchor fell out…and into the engine…and I couldn't find it anywhere after 30 minutes of looking with a flashlight and reaching around best I could. So, do yourself a favor - don't drop the parts in your engine - tape them in place (a suggestion in the directions for the anchors in the middle anyway) or don't put them in until you're ready to install them. All in all, I'm pleased with the quality of this item. It came in a huge box - without padding, but wrapped in plastic. This is the manufacturer's shipping packaging, not Amazon's. It arrived just fine, although the box was banged up a bit. Easy unwrap, easy install, and it looks great. I'll update after it's been in use for awhile.

This is a perfect fit for my 2013 Toyota Highlander and it looks nice too. It is well made. The only installation issue I had was with the plastic clips that go in the outboard holes. There are no instructions on how to insert them properly so as not to ruin them. You really only have one shot at getting these plastic clips in place. If you mess up, you probably need to get another set. Before you begin to screw in the plastic screw into the plastic clips, be sure the clips are firmly and deeply seated into the hole. Push hard to snap them in. Once properly seated, you can use the screw for a semi permanent mount.
