Iโve got two male catsโone senior Ragdoll and a young Russian Whiteโand this feeder has been a total lifesaver. I can set meal times and portions for both of them, which is great since the old guy needs smaller meals and the younger one eats like a vacuum.Food stays fresh, no ants, and my sneaky Russian White hasnโt managed to break into it yet (miracle!). Super easy to clean and I love the backup battery featureโno stress during power outages.Also, they both come running when they hear my voice recording calling them for food. Honestly, this thing just works.

This feeder is perfect for my rabbits! I like that the metal dish can come out to be washed, and that the dish holder latches into the base. My favorite part is that the hopper can be pulled off without having to disconnect anything else and locks into place when put on. This is nice because I keep their food in the basement and I can easily carry the hopper down to fill it. My rabbits are rascals and I do use a zip tie at the base to keep them from trying to tip this over, I didnโt give them the opportunity to even try, just learned my lesson from their previous auto-feeder!

I ordered this automatic cat feeder by Nityers because my husband and I sometimes go camping and need to leave our cats for a couple of days. This particular feeder was my choice because it has a dual power supply (battery or plug in) which will be great if there is a power outage. The other reason I ordered this one was because it doesnโt require wi-if. I have purchased a few wi-if only items and been disappointed when the product is unusable due to my high speed internet. I also have enough apps downloaded that I donโt need another one clogging up my phone. So this feeder seemed like a good choice for my household.The feeder was packed well and was easy to assemble. I cleaned all of the parts and wiped the base carefully (directions say not to wash it directly). After plugging it in and following the directions I had set up 4 timed feedings out of the 6 maximum. You do have to run through all of the settings if you want to change anything and those are time, meal 1, meal 2, and through meal 6. You cannot skip to meal 6 if you want to make a correction. What I do like is that if you only want four feedings then for the portion size of meals five and six you will leave it at zero. What I donโt like, and why I took off a star, is that I had no idea how large each portion setting was and so far have only seen portion sizes 1, 2, and 3. The first portion is very small-perhaps a dozen pieces of kibble and the third size I would assume is three times that much. This will be a trial and error until I can figure out how much to dispense. Right now though I am using this as a wholesome treat dispenser and it is dispensing freeze dried food so I am not as concerned if there is a full meal dispensed or if every cat gets some. I like that this includes a desiccant pouch to hopefully keep the food fresher. Besides the lid at the top the only opening in the storage portion is at the bottom where the food cycles and goes out a channel and into the bowl below. When I ordered this it was about $60 which seemed a good price but it is currently at about $50 which is more reasonable.My Amazon rating system-Five stars-As described. May have a minor problem. Good to great value.Four stars-As described but may have a more noticeable flaw or problem. Or, not as good as value.Three stars-Good item. Has a flaw/problem that requires more work than should be invested in a product.Two stars-May be a good item with work. Or, doesnโt work for me but may for someone else.One star-Nope. Doesnโt work for me and probably wonโt for anyone else.

Apparently I am the only cat mom who did not know/understand the importance of feeding your cats on a schedule. I have always had gravity feeders and allowed my 4 cats to be free range grazers. But eventually the food gets stale, and they really don't like stale food. So while I got this timed feeder mainly just to keep the food fresher, having timed servings has resulted in some positive behavioral changes. 1) the cats are eating less. It seems that by grazing they were eating out of boredom and not just because they were hungry. The first few days they freaked out when the bowl was empty, but now they are used to hearing the 'click clink clink' when the food is dispensed and coming to grab a few bites. 2) because the portions are limited, there is less gorging of food which has eliminated the vomiting from overeating. Now that they know there will be a fresh batch in 3 hours, they don't feel they have to eat a lot in one sitting. 3) less intake, less output. Less output, less scooping and less smell. Win/win/win.What I like about this feeder is you can create your own schedule with up to 6 feedings. It can be staggered hours or evenly dispersed throughout the day. You can also set how many portions you want dispensed at different times of the day. I have the timer set to dispense four portions of food every three hours and that seems to be working for this brood. It is very easy to program and easy to adjust the schedule. I also love that it has a steel feeding bowl which is easy to clean.Highly recommend.

This cat feeder has a nice and clean design. It has big enough capacity to last for almost 3 weeks of feeding without a refill. It seems well made with a nice stainless bowl. Programming for multiple meal as well as amount of feeding is on par with other automatic cat feeder. Voice recording is a nice touch to make sure kitties recognize the meal time.

Works perfectly for my cat! Sets 1 to 6 meals a day, keeps food fresh, and has a voice reminder. Never runs out thanks to the low-food alert. Super easy to use.

Iโve had this for about a month now and I have nothing bad to say! Itโs a great feeder and has definitely helped me out a lot! One of my cats is over weight and I have weird hours at work so his schedule would always be messed up since he canโt be free fed anymore. This has been a lifesaver! It comes out on time and is the perfect portion each time! Highly recommend this one!I like that thereโs an indicator for when the food is low too, the seal on the top is also great! Easy set up, really didnโt take long at all, didnโt need the instructions itโs pretty straight forward.

I have a medium sized dog and her dry food ranges from smaller round pieces to bigger triangle pieces and this feeder works perfectly fine with no jams.

Iโve tried a few different feeders, and this one stands out. The design is practical: the metal dish is removable and easy to wash, and I love that it latches securely into the base. My favorite feature is the removable hopper โ I can just pull it off to refill without having to mess with the whole setup. It locks back in place securely, too, which is a huge bonus.

I've used quite a few automatic feeders with my pets in the past, and this one stacks up pretty well. Even though it lacks more modern features like Wi-Fi, two-way camera/comms, and app connectivity, thereโs something to be said for having fewer features to worry aboutโmeaning fewer things that can go wrong.I found the unit reasonably easy to set up and configure. It could have been simpler, but it was manageable with a little effort. Small annoyances, like not fully understanding the portion size, required a bit of trial and error, but apart from that, it was mostly painless. A larger LCD screen would likely have made configuration even easier. On the plus side, its dual-powered design, which includes a battery backup, makes this unit more robust compared to other similarly priced options.Overall, this is a well-featured feeder with only very minor inconveniences, as I've mentioned briefly. It works flawlessly and as intended. If you can forgo more modern features, this unit is a great no-fuss automatic feeder.

This feeder is easy to set up, it doesn't take up much space and although corded, does also have capacity to use batteries for back up power.My cats both got used to switching to the automatic system, and will run to it as soon as they hear the food dropping.The whole system comes apart so it is all cleanable.It has the capacity for 6 separate feeding times with each allowing for different portion sizes. There is also a manual feeding option.
