This is the second automatic feeder I have purchased. The first one was great except it was too difficult to program. This one is very easy to set up, and does all the more expensive one did, except record a call. My little fellow responds to the sound of the kibble hitting the bowl.

This compact car feeder is easy to set up and clean with just soap and water. I like that the food doesnโt get stuck inside, and the tray is simple to remove and wash.

I've had this feeder for about a week now and it works great. Was very easy to set up. The portion settings are a little off from what the instructions say so you just have to test and measure out what your pet's needs are for a day and divide it up. I didn't see where it gave any options to buy any more of the desiccant bags or when it should be replaced so I'll have to do some research on those.

It's pretty neat little machine! However I had a hard time how to set up for food time and how many scoops. Overall I'm satisfied !

This thing is great so far. Love the app as it tells you when food is dispensed, very customizable feeding plan. Nothing overly complicated. Really happy with this feeder.

Pros: Affordable automated feeder with a generously sized food storage tank and quiet, on-time dispensing. It is straightforward to set up, with simple and easy to understand controls. You can schedule up to six meals per day, each with their own time and amount of food, which makes it easy to provide multiple small meals for pets that tend to bolt their food or who need a distraction. It has flexible power options, usable with batteries only, USB cord only, or USB cord with battery backup. The cord is easy to replace, since itโs a standard USB type, and the one that comes in the box is generously long. I have been using it for over week and have it has kept time and reliably dispensed when and how much I set it for (but see note below about portion size)! I placed this where my cat is already used to being fed, and had zero issues with him figuring it out or being willing to use it.Cons: The main challenge I had was with portion sizes โ see the Notes section below this one). Other things I would have changed: I would have liked if the plastic bowl came with a metal liner, or at least if you could buy additional metal bowls or liners separately. As it is, I have to wash the bowl in-between meals and make sure I get it back in time for the next feeding. Additionally, I prefer metal bowls to plastic because plastic can develop micro scratches over time that harbor bacteria and contribute to cat skin issues. While you can position your own bowl below the feeder, it will easily get pushed out of place since itโs not connected in any way to the main body. Finally, although I like the opaque sides that protect the food from sunlight, it does make it difficult to see when the feeder needs to be refilled, and the tinted top is too dark to see through. This means you need to take the lid off to assess the fill level. A little clear window would have been a good addition.Notes: In the printed instructions that come with the feeder, the portion size (e.g. the amount dispensed for one portion) is listed as 1/24 cup or 10.4mL or 2 teaspoons, but in the online material on the product page is says one portion is 1 tbsp. Using the manual feed button, which dispenses a single portion when pushed, I measured the portion size several times and confirmed it was indeed about 1/24 cup. This discrepancy is confusing and could lead to over or underfeeding.Additionally, note that I said โaboutโ โ I recommend that when you are setting this up you dispense and measure the exact number of portions you intend to feed per meal, and measure that, rather than just dispensing a single portion and multiplying. I found that when I used the 1/24 cup measurement to calculate how many portions to feed per meal, the actual dispensed amount was a little more than I had intended. This was fixed by just decreasing the total by one portion, but was a subtle inaccuracy that might be significant if you are trying to get your cat to lose weight, or are closely tracking their intake.Comparison: I recently tried and reviewed another similar product, the IMIPAW Automatic Cat Feeder 3L. Overall I preferred the MUBBI. The two feeders have a similar footprint and nearly identical user interface, but the MUBBI is a little quieter when dispensing, uses a standard USB cable for power instead of the proprietary cord used by the IMIPAW, and the portion size on the MUBBI is a bit smaller which lets you tailor the meal sizes more closely.
