None of my bags completely sealed on the first try when I was freezing ground beef in smaller portions for my freezer. It was very frustrating to have to take it out, see if it even started to seal, and find it still open. It also has a drip tray that is very hard to clean out. You cannot remove it to wash it properly, only stick a wet rag into it to wipe it. I'm very NOT happy with this product. I was ready to send it back after about 2 hours of messing with it. I still might have to do that after the busy weekend is over.

This was a really nice upgrade. Very useful if you buy in any kind of bulk. It does keep fish and meats and even vegetables very fresh in the freezer. They have controls that allow you to vacuum seal dry ingredients as well as moist ingredients. They have a cutting feature so you can cut rolled bags to size which is very convenient and that you get a very straight cut And when you buy the large rolled bags it’s far more economical.
