El producto funciona buen en general, pero le veo dos problemas, que no tiene un botón de apagado, para apagar lo hay que desconectarlo de ma corriente, y lo otro es que recibe el ruido del motor

I picked this up to use in my 2008 vw gti. i wanted to add some bluetooth connectivity since i was tired of the aux cable that i hacked into the sat inputs on the radio. i cut off the 3.5mm jack and pinned out the wires. green is right channel, white is left channel, and yellow is ground. odd color choices for the 3.5mm jack but whatever. my gti has the old ipod interface in the center console and did not have the aux input so i found the pins for the aux input on the harness that operate the l/r/g for the audio channels. which are pin 7 for right, pin 10 for left, pin 9 for audio ground. i then had to reprogram the vagcom to enable the aux input instead of the ipod port. the only thing i wish this product had was a longer wire to the mic/receiver, im going to be limited on where i can put this because i spliced the wires into the center console area, and im planning on hard wiring the + and - for power(which are pin 3 for - and pin 6 for + on that harness btw) to the device and leave it inside the area near the harness with the usb ports to a nice dual usb mount for charging.audio quality playing some music is fantastic and was my main purpose for this device. the capability of the controls from the receiver to pause and ff/rw to next and previous track are a nice little addition. havent used it for call quality yet since i only just now prototyped the wiring, but i dont really use my phone for talking much anyway so quality there doesnt concern me.great product overall, just wish the wires were longer, and maybe if the base/power portion was easier to take apart so i could properly solder the power to it would make this even better

easy to set up, connects to phone quickly and everyone can hear me, you do need to have an aux input fairly close to your 12v outlet or else you'll need an extension. worked fine in my Jetta, decent enough sound quality and has a bass booster button. i was planning to get a touchscreen unit for $300+ but this does everything I need for much less. pair it with a phone mount and you're good to go!

I have been looking for a product that would allow me to connect my phone to my car's stereo/speaker system. I wanted to listen to my downloaded music & books, or use a music streaming app, through my car's speaker system and this device allows me to do just that! It is able to handle phone calls as well. I did place a phone call to see how it handled it. I don't think, personally, that I would use this device for making calls. I could hear the caller through my speakers just fine. The caller said that I sounded far-away and difficult to understand. It got worse when we had my children in the car having a normal conversation. (If you have children you know they're usually very loud.) My test at a normal speaking level told me that loud children would have made it impossible. At that point the caller could longer hear/understand me. The point being that to use it for calls you'll need your passengers to be silent as there is no noise canceling feature. This is not an issue for me as I never intended to use it for phone calls. I set it to audio only in my Bluetooth settings on my phone & I'll use my actual Bluetooth headset for phone calls as I always have. I had my 14 yr old set it up and he had no issues with the set up. He did say that the instruction manual was a little vague so if you struggle with the set up just find yourself a teenager to figure it out. It paired quickly and easily to two different devices. My phone immediately recognizes & connects to it every time I get in the car. I like that the cigarette adapter part has two chargeing ports so that you're not losing valuable charging space while using the device. I highly recommend you try this.

I have an older car without bluetooth and was getting tired of always having to plug into my cars AUX jack to listen to music from my phone. This looked like a good solution.The instructions provided were fairly clear, but had some translation issues here and there. Nothing major that I could not figure out on my own. Setup was very simple - plug into car's lighter, plug Aux jack in, and affix the control/speaker part to the dash. Took a total of about 10 minutes, including taping down a bit of wire in the car that I didn't want to catch on anything.There are three provided sticky pads for affixing the control bit to the dashboard. They are *very* sticky and hold well.I had no issues connecting to the bluetooth as instructed from my phone. Since my original pairing, phone automatically connects now as soon as I am in my car and pairing has remained reliable.Sound quality is fine by me, but I am not an audiophile so your mileage may vary. I can hear my music over my car speakers and the volume is fine. The up/down volume buttons on the side of the control bit I only use for jumping forward or back a track - when you long press to increase the volume, there is a overloud beep that is really annoying. I just set it to max volume at the start and then use the volume control on my phone if needed. The button on the front for pausing music works fine and is handy to have right by my hand. The bass boost feature is useless - it only made the sound sound muddy.Calls taken via bluetooth were also fine and the microphone provided on this device picked up my voice without issue in the car.I've had this in my car now almost a month and use it daily. It has been reliable and works well. I was provided this for free for my unbiased review and plan on paying the purchase price for another one to install in my wife's car after testing this out for a month.
