Feature:

- The MMI 2G bluetooth need to charge by the usb cable. USB charger for a cigarette lighter port, since 2G system do not deliver power to AMI port.
- USB cable is 1.8m that it is long enough to reach the cigarette lighter port. The cable is very thiy, so it will be easy to hide it and it can be placed between closed glove box doors. 2GEN MMI adapter is for Audi and VW group cars with AMI or MDI port with 2G MMI.
- This cable is for music transmission only, phone call is not supported. This cable couldn't display the song names on the car screen. Please don't worry about the after-sale service, you can contact us at any time for any issue.
Installation:
1. Open MMI system and switch to "Media"
2. Switch the source to Aux mode (external audio input)
Note:
Please confirm that your car with a AMI-Audi Music Interface, it is generally in the armrest box or copilot storage box, without this Interface will not be able to use this product.

audi not having factory bluetooth audio without any fancy packages is crazy. the adapter works tho, easy to install. USB cord could be longer, as i didnt have much slack in a Q5

I purchased this from my car which happened to be an Audi Q7. I was so upset when I receiving my car and realized that there's no AUX card to play music through my phone. No Bluetooth and the only Port it had to play music was outdated. iPod if you purchase one of these inside your glove box is a little plug. Plug one end in and one end into your charger and you will have Bluetooth. It sounds beautiful just like it's built into your car. I highly recommend this 100% to anybody who is having the same issue

So to begin with, this device has to be powered through USB B. It may be because that year of the car doesn't supply power to the source directly from the input. it works great when it is connected on its own. But when I plug my hone charger next to it, for some reason it doesn't connect and creates this hissing white noise. This may be my power adapter but just thought I would give my review on my experience in case others are having the same problem or if I just need to get a new power adapter.
