Occasionally I do some deep hole drilling on my lathe. The problem I run into is the tail stock spindle’s travel is only 2 inches. This tool holder allows me to mount my tail stock chuck in the tool and then the limit of travel is the travel of the saddle. It works well and I am well satisfied with my purchase.
