I ended up not using them I had a better idea! I have the fatliner rack and my suggestion if you have a brake issue with mounting the rack. LIKE THE RACK DONT FIT?? Try the axle runners(quick release) to extend the reach of the stock brackets!! I'm thinking of trying to get the longer extra bracket that comes with the journey uni fit rack for the fatliner rack as an exparament. I have road withe journey rack fully loaded and maybe then some for 800 and no problem with those brackets!! If the fit the fatliner? Hmmm.........

Needed this as my bike does not have eyelets. These are very sturdy, they support an Axiom rack and custom wood crate for my 50lb bulldog!

Exactly what I needed. I bought the streamliner rack at a store but my fork was way too wide. Couldn't get the skewer to make it past them since the feet came in at a diagonal from the drops. I got these, squeezed them between the fork, resting on the axle that sits in the drops, and everything is great. On a road bike, my feet aren't kicking the panniers at all. This + the streamliner turns my road bike into a touring bike, and I'm ready to take it on a nice long journey.

I needed these to attach my Axiom DLX Streamliner rack to my single speed bike. They do what they're intended for. No complaints with the quality.

Exactly what I needed. Why Axiom doesnt include it for the fat tire rack is beyond me. Now that I have it, no complaints (reason for minus 1 star).Update: Pictures are supposedly worth a thousand words. What good is the rack if what is supporting it isn't worth it's weight. Hoping "Full Factory Warranty" covers idiocy! The most weight I put on it was 4 gallons of water. If I have exceeded the maximum, well, then. There you have it! Axiom rack plus this rear rack axle kit = keep looking!

Should be made from thicker metal considering the thick price for this crap hardware. Also, why isn't the mount a complete circle? You get the. Snug on there and it just wants to push up. If I didn't have to buy this to get that stupid rack to work I wouldn't have.
