I purchase a lot of instrument sets for the toddler music program that I run and this is one of the nicer sets that I've found. All of the instruments have nice sound for toddler rhythm instruments, and all are nicely finished, with smooth edges and nice paint work. They are all solid and will stand up to the tougher-than-normal use that we put them through with multiple classes of very young kids handling them every week. They are also relatively easy to clean--we use a disinfectant fogger, and these have held up well to repeated cleanings, with no emerging safety concerns. The size and design is perfect for kids that age, and I especially like that unlike many similar sets, all of the pieces in this set ARE instruments. Even the rainstick-like item offers both sound and visual stimulation for kiddos that thrive on seeing what goes on inside things. Very pleased with this set!

I wish I could give these 4.5 stars. For young children with no musical instruction, this is a beautiful set. The quality is almost immaculate and as far as children are concerned, it's great. The wood is so smooth and beautifully polished on each instrument and there is lots of variety in this set.I was really impressed with the jingle bell/hand bell. The screwhooks are really thick, as are the clasps on the jingle bell. Even with rough play, I don't think children will be able to break these.The triangle has a lovely tone.The drumhead on the tamborine has a lovely tone as well, and ,of course, the zills jingle.The "clarinet" only plays one tone, even if you change the tightness of your lips, (embouchure) which is disappointing. The rainstick is fun, but it's really too small to get the full rainstick effect.The guiro is an entertaining option, quite small, but makes a unique sound.The xylophone has a small music book of children's songs that can be played, but the low C is sharp.The guiro is fun and comfortable to hold.The handles on the maracas are nice and comfortable, but the small head size makes it hard to play these at a slower tempo. There's not enough space inside for the beads to pause before hitting the other side.That said, I know I'm being really picky on a set made for very young children, so I'm going to stick with five stars.

Great baby/toddler music set! Love that the colors match and aren't too bright but not just boring biege. Everything arrive in perfect condition and everything sounds good and true to pitch (we previously had a children's xylophone that was off key). I like that it's all wooden and feel sturdy and long lasting. Also really like that it came with a music book! My 1.5 year old and 3 year old both love playing these instruments individually and jamming out together!

Cute set. Baby loves playing with them! They are sturdy, definitely baby toys not legitimate music instruments but they are advertised correctly.

All these instruments are well made. They offer enough sound output to be engaging without being obnoxious. I got them for a one year old. Of course she will be supervised when playing with these and they will be used for interactive play with me. The hand bells and triangle might be best for a child a wee bit older. The hand bells appear well attached but I would take care with possible choking hazard of the bells. The triangle and mallets may also offer safety challenges to a one year old. I'd feel safe looking away when she has any of the other instruments. The xylophone actually plays a scale which is refreshing with these sorts of toys. She can't blow the clarinet yet but that's fine with me. It's a single, high pitch note. All in all this is a delightful collection of instruments for a toddler.

Great quality nicely made. Lots of fun for my little one who’s starting to explore more with the objects around her and absolutely loves making noise. Would make as a cute gift

This is a really nice set with a good variety of musical instruments. Everything is of good quality and has nice sound. The songs in the songbook are easily played on the xylophone. Perfectly sized for small hands too!
