I have a large glass mat that I use for card making. I was excited to see this one because it’s smaller than my large one and it has a large surface area that I can apply my magnets to. This was easy to use and the size is better suited for me and my A2 sized card making.

The size is great for my space, I thought I would never get the magnets off the board the first time. I like the work space on the side (although I turn it around due to me being a lefty,) Works for some many medians,

I have been following a card maker that has a glass mat that she uses. Not the same as this one, but I knew I could do a lot of things with one. I was very happy to have a chnace to try this one out. It arrived safely and it is great. I do have problems with get the two magnets off of the mat, but due to arthritis in my hands I have trouble with a lot of things that invovle using my hands. It will take me a long while to try out its various features, but I think it is great. I make my cards on a vintage desk that had been my grandmother's (so old!) and I try to do whatever I can to keep it free of damage and this mat will help. I have been using a regular rotary cutting mat but have found that many glues I can't clean up, etc. I don't think I will have that problem with this glass mat.I like that the top measuring line counts to zero and then back up so you can perfectly center a card or other paper project that you may be making. The lines under the glass will really help, especially with an acrylic block that has a grid on it so you can lay your item out properly. I will be using this a lot and I am glad to have gotten it.I appreciate the opportunity to try out this glass mat. Thank you.
