This comes with quite a few broken and improperly sized cubes. It works well if you are doing a project with students where you want them to measure for accuracy and precision but if you need to get actual 0.5 in cubes, go to a woodcraft website.

These one inch wooden blocks are nice quality. I am painting them with acrylic paint pens for decorative and alphabet letter cubes.
