Have you ever wondered about the quality of your drinking water? Trace Analytical can give you the peace of mind you have been looking for. Our laboratory has over 35 years of experience analyzing drinking water samples from a range of clientele. Whether you are concerned because your water looks, tastes, or smells “off” to having concerns based on the health of your family, our reports offer a wide variety of results. What is included in my kit? Each kit includes the following: Custom sample collection bottles for each test being performed, Complimentary at-home Total Coliform test, Detailed sample collection instructions, Return shipping label. What is the difference between Basic and Premium Drinking Water Kits? The difference between the two kits is that the Premium Kit includes a comprehensive analysis of volatile organic compounds that includes regulated compounds, unregulated compounds (Including Vinyl Chloride), and total trihalomethanes. This is a great option if you have concerns because your home is near any industries, including chemical or petroleum-type industries. Some volatile compounds are considered to be carcinogenic (cancer-causing) and these compounds are identified in the complete guide that accompanies your results.

Did great work especially getting the results to me around a stubborn email service. I will use them again

Test results similar to test from another provider. Gave us great confidence in test results.

I purchased this kit because I am considering get a water softening/ filtration system for my home and wanted to independently test my water first.Pros1. Price point. Comparatively speaking, this kit was one of the more affordable (at the time of my purchase date) that also did laboratory results (which is a feature I specifically wanted) that I found on Amazon.2. Easy to use. The instructions, from testing to shipping back your water sample, are very clear, concise and easy to follow3. Free return shipping for your water sample4. Fast results. I returned my sample on 10/02/23 and my results were emailed back to me on 10/17/23 (about 2 business weeks later) in an easy to read and understand PDF. However, because it defaulted to my spam folder I did not realize that I had gotten anything. Since I did not see my results (never checked my spam folder) I reached out to the company directly (customer contact information is listed on the Trace Analytical Laboratories, Inc website) for follow up via email and voicemail. I got an email response back almost immediately (essentially saying check your spam mama, but very professionally and nicely worded ;)). If that wasn't enough I ALSO got a follow up phone call (from a real person) to make sure my issue was resolved. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE! No notes!Cons:Seriously, I can't think of anyRecommendation:The customer service alone would likely keep me a loyal patron. I would 100% use this company again and I highly recommend

I have tried those ridiculous test strips in the past and the results were generally unclear. This testing process provides specific and accurate results that provide a high degree of confidence in case action needs to be taken. We have a local water testing company that often does testing for real estate, but they are only looking a few analytes and their website doesn’t list prices or capabilities for more thorough testing. Other companies that list their prices online quickly become more expensive than this company. With this product, I had results about two weeks after shipping the samples to them.

After having a new pump installed in our well, the water was cloudy and contained grit. I searched for home water test kits but the reviews led me to believe I might be wasting my money as results were often difficult to read. This company is a a real lab and I felt it well worth the money to have a professional to do the testing. I would have given a five star rating, but instead of five to ten days to receive results, I had to wait a little more than two weeks. All in all, I think I got my monies worth for the peace of mind the analysis provided. As it turned out, our water is safe to drink and the results were easy to understand.
