About this item

  • DC PWM Motor Controller: Our motor controller features speed control and an on/off switch. The controller’s maximum voltage matches the battery voltage (18V). For a 12V motor, set the speed to ≤66% to ensure the output voltage is ≤12V, allowing the motor to operate properly without damage
  • Power Limit: The adapter has a maximum output current of 10A. For safe operation and to prevent damage to the battery and motor, use it with small devices and tools that power consumption up to 120W. Note:Exceeding 120W may risk damage to the battery or motor
  • Low Voltage Protection: Constructed from high-quality ABS material, the battery adapter includes a built-in low voltage protection device. It will automatically shut off when the battery voltage drops below 15V, preventing over-discharge and protecting the battery from damage
  • Convenient to Use: Our battery adapter is combined with a motor speed controller, two heat-resistant wires, and a fuse holder for added convenience. Simply mount the battery onto the adapter, adjust the PWM speed controller to match the motor voltage, and connect it to your device. (Note: Battery not included)
  • Wide Application: This DC motor speed controller kit is ideal for devices with power consumption up to 120W, including upgraded electric toys, small power tools, small household appliances, small electric pumps, small fans, LED light decorations, and DIY robots. Doesn't work! The speed control was wired backwards! Red wire positive going in and negative coming out. Melted the wire on the adapter. I fixed the input/output then checked for polarity, then I checked the speed control to see if it actually worked and it has no effect on the voltage.

Worked for what I needed you can put a name brand battery and run a motor and control the speed great diy device to have around.

battery clicks in place but does not make contact with the adapter. im using a Milwaukee m18 red lithium xc5.0, battery is fully charged, multimeter shows current in the battery but not after the adaptor, the switch is turned on and the fuse is ok. any ideas?

This speed controller does exactly what it should. I like to rig or modify small electronics from time to time. This helps provide a portable power supply for outdoor testing. This controller seems really well built. If you're trying to mod out a small kid's riding toy, this will work great. It will temper the speed output from pressing on the throttle. Obviously, it can extend battery life, but that is only because the drain is reduced.Depending on what exactly you're trying to accomplish, this controller is pretty easy to use. Having this ability without needing to wire and box your own circuit makes this a pretty good deal. To me, the value is there.

Love this thing! It’s incredibly easy to install and works seamlessly with my power wheel. The motor speed controller provides smooth and precise control, and the built-in low-voltage protection is a great safety feature. This kit has significantly improved the performance and reliability of my setup. Highly recommend!

The low voltage cutout burnt up in 20 feet at full speed with my 7 year old driving.

I installed this and it's worked so far. However I don't know that the Low Voltage Cutoff is working. There's no instructions or documentation to know what the LVC is set at and because of that, I've only used cheap knock off Milwaukee batteries in it so far. I've had one battery pack work and one go dead to the point it won't charge anymore (damaged cells). I can't say that it's from this or just being a cheap battery. As for this kit overall, the wires are good and thick gauge (12g) to handle the amps while using it. The speed controller box seems like it's built nice and the dial knob is easy to see and change the speed. I had to cut and extend the wiring to have the controller box in a good location and the battery where it's supposed to be. Not a big deal but would be nice if the wires were a bit longer from the start.Overall, I think it's good as is and great if the LVC does work and set to 15.5v (this is the factory cutoff for Milwaukee 18v batteries). You'll probably have to extend the wires to get it to fit for your ride on car / Power Wheels vehicles. I'll update this if needed but for what it does, it's a good starter kit to get your kid/s going faster and longer runtime in their little cars.

I used this Azocek motor speed controller to bring an ancient diesel engine back to life that had the manual throttle replaced with an electric actuator. This motor controller allowed me to convert the 12 volt DC battery into a modulated signal that would allow it to drive the actuator between 0-100% of the throttle speed. The on/off button was a plus as it allowed us to keep the speed at the current setting and simply shut off the engine (aka 0 volts/amps) without having to turn the dial to zero. I was not sure if it was going to work but it did. I'll just need to build a waterproof cabinet but at lease the proof-of-concept worked. 5/5 stars for being a high quality and good value product.
