This review is 100% objective and honest. It is written to best help you decide if this product is right for you by including the information I look for when shopping for itemsWhat was the motivation for ordering this item ?* Basically for a touch fun to look at insects and plants under a “microscope”What gets delivered:(1) x1 handheld microscope(2) x1 white USB C to USB A charging cable(3) x1 32GB Micro SD Card(4) x1 Instruction ManualHow does it work?* This device is listed as a “2.8-inch Handheld Microscope”, out of box the device needs a brief charge using the included USB C to USB A cable, activate with the On /Off button on the right hand side, for best results lie the device flat on top of what you would like to inspect. Pro Tip - holding it back from the item like a magnifying glass yields poor results. An SD Card can be inserted to record viewing results✅ What Did I Like:- Easy to charge- Lightweight- Rechargeable therefore does not require additional AA or AAA batteries- Device has two included mini games which are VERY basic but could represent some fun for a bored customer- Has photo mode and photos can be retained on the included SD Card- Has auto shut down after a designated idle time😞 What Were The Negatives:- Poor magnifying capabilities, offers no better resolution than a stock standard magnifying glass- To see something in “microscope mode” the device has to be layed completely flat on a firm surface which is really frustrating when trying to observe a moving target such as an ant or a bug- Whilst the instruction manual is four pages in length, unfortunately it does not actually tell the user HOW to use the device and what buttons to press and when, I had to figure it out myself via trial and error- Plastic and buttons feel cheap and poor quality- The tiny SD card could represent a choke hazard for a younger user~ Does this represent good value for money ?* At $33.59 AUD I believe this device is poor value for moneyMY RECOMMENDATION❌ Not RecommendedI was extremely disappointed with this device . . the magnifying aspect was poor, the buttons clunky, cheap plastic material, instruction manual incomplete and poor value for money1 Star = Awful

This is a fun little toy for kids just starting to explore their environment. The image is pretty impressive for the price. The battery life is great, and the USB C charging is very handy.

This lighted microscope with different language and camera options is incredible. It is a fun educational toy to prompt exploration and inquiry for science- related concepts. It is adorable and portable especially for outdoor environments. I got it for making some videos. Great for young children at home, in classrooms, camping, hiking, etc. I wish it was more of a true pink color. Like the bear shape

Simple enough for my six year old grandson to use and see small details. Image quality is pretty good. It's an excellent toy for young children.

This portable pocket microscope is a great educational tool for young kids. My kid had a great time using it. This made discovering new details in everyday items fun. It also examines all kinds of objects up close such as a blanket or an orange. It really is quite fun to see everyday objects up close! The built in screen is good size and doesn’t stress my kid’s eyes. But, the resolution could be sharper for better clarity. Adjusting the focus takes some patience, as we had to move the microscope back and forth slowly to get a clear image. We also had trouble adjusting the date and time on the device. However, if you are looking for an enjoyable and engaging way to introduce kids to the microscopic world, then this is an awesome product!

This would be a great gift for young exploring children. It will magnify anything you put under it. It has built in games in it that keep little little kids entertained as well as learning and exploring.

The thing sort of works, my wife & I had trouble with the focus, as well as our kids....it goes from blurry to blurry. Kids got bored of it in less than an hour, not only because it doesn't seem to focus on anything correctly. it went right in to the donation pile the day after we got it....Good Idea but ours doesn't work

I am very impressed with how well this works. If it wasn't so cute, I'd put it on my work desk and use it for looking at the fine print on things. This works great, right out of the box. The buttons all function great, the lighting and camera turn on easy and just setting this on top of a piece of paper, the oohs and aahs start right away.Turning this right around on the paper package that this came in, the camera easily zooms in on the fibers of the paper, and the find lines of the writing. Moving it over to the picture on the box, the camera zooms in on the pixels of the colored pictures, that you can't see with your eyes. WOW.This is about as cool as it gets for a curious explorer who wants to learn about the world around them. What a great education tool.I am very impressed and am very likely going to end up stealing this for myself.

I wouldn't really call as a microscope as the name of the product is, but it is definitely a magnifying glass on steroids. Regardless, if it's truly a microscope or just a really strong magnifying glass, the kids are loving examining things with it. They've been all over the house and all over outside looking everything they can and I'm close up zoomed in way. It's a great toy because it teaches some educational values about how magnification works and help them understand the intricacies of things that you don't normally see with the naked eye. They're having a lot of fun using it in a simple for children of pretty much any age that can hold a device and comprehend that they're looking at something that they want to enlarge. Overall, a good value and the right toy or gift for a kid who is interested in this kind of thing

This kids microscope is a great little device that surprised me with it's clear and zoomed in picture.Everything looks so different with this microscope and some of the bugs are just plain scary. The kids find it fascinating and often eww and ahh when they see a particularly nasty looking bug.Great for engaging with the little environmentalist in them.
