Replaced the oil pressure sending unit on an 89 Toyota 4Runner V6. This looks exactly like the OEM one used with the SR5 package and factory oil pressure gauge (not light). Worked great.

It works well and doesn't leak. It was unbelievably difficult to thread in to the block however. I thought at first it was an incorrect part but the threads were just poorly formed at the starting end. Once started, it installed correctly with no issues.

I think this has a 1/8 BSPT/NPT size to screw in my Toyota pickup engine block because a little tight fit. I have a female 1/8 NPT that I check the sizing and it went in with no problem. Works well with the factory gauge cluster upgrade from a 4Runner cluster donor. Best deal in Amazon. Fast shipping.

I received this on a Thursday, installed it on Friday, and it quit working on Saturday. Cheap PRC crap. OEM Toyota from now on.

I'm using this in a rebuilt 4AGE in an MR2. While it does work, it does not have consistent reading. By this, I mean that when the car is off and the ignition switch is on, the 'zero' reading is sometimes one of two different values. This translates into two different values when the engine is running, and if the sender decides to change between the two while the engine is on, the driver would see it as a somewhat prominent drop in oil pressure if they didn't know better.Anyways, it works, but in future rebuilds I'm just gonna go with OEM toyota.
