I'm a big side sleeper and have been told that sleeping with a pillow between my knees can help keep my back from hurting. I gave this a try and it was tough for me to sleep with but I'm not sure if that's due to my tossing and turning and hate the feeling of this pillow getting in my way. I will say the pillow is soft and cooling so this product may work better for you than it did for me!

It is my fault for not paying more attention to the dimensions. This pillow turned out to be a whole lot smaller than I wanted. Since it narrows in the center and the foam is not stiff, the pillow does not align my legs with my hips since my knees basically touch. This defeats the purpose for a knee pillow. The dimensions might fit a child, not an adult. The material is not supportive and I will continue to use a firm pillow instead.

I had hip replacement and sleeping with a pillow between your knees is highly recommended to maintain alignment. I was using a standard pillow for that, but found that to be so immobilizing because it would get caught up with the sheets. That made it difficult to change positions or to even simply get out of bed. That is why I was interested in this knee pillow. It makes a night and day difference. The fabric cover has a cooling effect and is a satin-like finish. So it slides easily under the sheets and the hour glass shape form fits to your legs and allows it to stay in place. The cooling effect really does work also. I have not felt over heated from this pillow (unlike my standard pillow). I haven’t used it as a neck pillow because I worried it would be too high for that. However, I have noticed that it is quite capable of compressing down due to the filling being shredded foam, so it’s very malleable. I may try it under my neck if needed. It’s also nicely huggable, like a compact body pillow. It would seem too small for that, but there is something about its shape that makes for a wonderfully comfortable hug!

I am used to sleeping with a full-sized king pillow between my legs, which gets hot and makes it hard to turn from side to side and takes up a lot of space. I didn't think that such a small pillow could replace my large one.I gave this Bedgear Knee Pillow a fair shot and found that I really do prefer this smaller pillow. Not only do I have more room in bed, but it is MUCH cooler. more comfortable, and I can now turn side to side in a smooth motion without issue. It takes a bit of adjustment to find the perfect position. I also recommend using a soft pillowcase over it to keep it clean and make it softer because the stitching it a little scratchy in my opinion.I simply cannot sleep without a pillow between my legs. I will be adding this to my travel gear because it is always an issue when in a hotel to find the right size extra pillow for my knees. This is the perfect size and can be compacted down very small for travel. I highly recommend.

This is well made, no doubt about that, I have used it a few days now and the biggest problem I have had is it has a tendency to slide out of bed, that I think is due to the type of sheets you have. I do not find it as comfortable as my body pillow and, I have gone back to that, I cannot use this product and maybe that's just me. I do think it is very expensive as well.

This pretty pillow has silver metallic thread woven into the pattern. When I first saw it I thought it would be scratchy. The moment I touched it I couldn't wait to try it - so smooth and soft. It stays cool all night, which is great. The cover can be easily removed and washed, which is also a plus.I am a side sleeper and have used a round log-shaped bolster pillow for years. I was happy to return that pillow to the couch and start using this specialty pillow. Its hour glass shape is taking some getting used to, but I like it.The length, which is shorter than the one I was using, is also taking some getting used to. When sleeping on my side the old one was long enough to to support my knees from quads to calf. This one I have to choose one placement or the other but not both. I've used it several nights and it's working though. Not waking up with as much pain in my back and hip.The only thing it's not good for is using it under both knees if I want to be on my back. Pick one knee or the other for support, but not both. It's not long enough and the hourglass shape makes it uncomfortable.I do like this pillow for sleeping on my side and am not going back to the bolster. Glad I ordered it and know I'll quickly figure out how to place it for the best results.UPDATE: After using this pillow for about 2 weeks, the hour glass shape is flattening out some so I can easily place this pillow from quads to calf. The top knee rests in the slight groove, but now it's very comfortable and easy to maneuver. Still best for side sleeping, but it's great for its intended purpose, and in the morning my back doesn't hurt nearly as much as it did without the pillow. Sciatica hasn't bothered me since the pillow started to conform to me. Thumbs up!
