Purchased in 2019 and been plinking with it up until it began to leak after leaving cartridges which was less than 2 years in. The white gaskets don't seem to hold up at all and so found an O-ring set on Amazon for

After we first got it the o rings were all messed up. within the first month the co2 blew out the top and wouldn’t hold it. so we sent it in to be fixed after we got it back. no joke in 2 weeks it stoped holding co2 all together not to mention they replaced the good o rings that we put in with cracked an broken ones also it was not powerful and lacked reliability.

What a bargain for 60 bucks! This rifle is well made and has a good feel. Accuracy is tops. With iron sights it dispatched a huge rate at just over 20 yards. Head shot was no problem since I get 1/2" groups after adding a Center Point scope I had laying there doing nothing. Even with iron sights and as bad as my old eyes are I waz still getting tight groups at 25 and 35 yards. Needless to say I am very impressed. I chronograph everything and this rifle averaged 638 fps with a 7.9 Crosman Premier Hollowpoint. With lighter pellets that velocity will go up. Very happy get rid of that rat that was springing my traps. Excellent for target and the fun of plinking. Best value I have ever seen for a QB78. Get one you will enjoy it!

out the box the gun feels nice, super lightweight makes it easy to handle, the action is notchy but workable and gets better with more shots, after 250 pellets i setup the chrony to check stock FPS ,on a 74 degree sunny day 20 shot average shot was 605 FPS for the first 20 shots, the next 10 were over 500 FPS, and the next 10 were still over 400 FPS, so getting 40 usable shots total per cartridge above 400FPS. the high shot of the day was 626FPS on the third shot. so for just plinking your going to get 40 shots per co2 which means 80 shots per pair of co2 (i only use one cartridge at a time).because for some crazy reason i always believe i can make things better then they are out of the box i decided to take her apart and do a little work on her, a little sanding and polishing to make the actions smooth, did a little port work on the chamber and then worked on the bolt some to flow co2 easier, i did not touch the valve because i didnt want to loose shots, anytime you start doing valve work you loose shots and i really liked the 40 shots per cartridge we were getting.got it all back together and went back out for another chrony session, 75 degree day sunny, here ya go, first 20 shots average 719 FPS next 10 shots all over 600 FPS next 6 were over 500 FPS,next 4 were over 400 FPS,so still 40 shots per cartridge if you push it, high shot for the day was 758 FPS , all this work took about an hour and was very simple to do,your just making sure the air flows unobstructed through the gun to the pellet, results speak for themselves on how good of a gun this is.On another day which outside was temp 88 and sunny and i hit a high of 792fps and its favorite pellet is crosman premier pointed 7.4gr. shes a keeper all the way!accuracy was top shelf before when box stock and after the rework was even better at longer range, 15 yards open sites your hitting quarters 5 out of 5 shots, 30 yards 2 inch steel discs 5 out of 5 shots, then after the rework we decided lets go 60 yards and setup 5 inch steel discs which is what we use for our 22lr shooting, and let me tell you its a blast, yes this gun will tag 5 inch circles at 60 yards open sights in standing freearm from at 60 yards. its blast stock but even better if you decide to do a little work on it.also while i was reworking it i found out it has a fully adjustable trigger assembly, this option is only really found on 250.00 and up higher end air rifles , what a treat to find this.not bad for a out of the box 70.00 gun. i own .22 beeman r1 lazer glide, .22 bsa supersport, .22 air force talon, .177 gamo hunter, a bunch of crosman 2240 and 2260 series that i modded, older webley rifles, rws 54,hatsan 125 sniper but i got to tell you for 70.00 hands down this one takes the cake on value for your dollar. take the chance your gonna love it.

1. The packages both amazon's and manufacturer's were damaged when the rifle arrived. The end of the barrel already broke the box, but no sign on the barrel. I believe that amazon's box is too long and no stuff to hold the inner box tight. Really make me worry about the accuracy remain.2. The barrel looks both been twisted unclockwized alot to the upper, so adjust it. The gap also not straight to the tip, have to adjust it.3. When I test the rifle, its accuracy is OK. But because of the gap is twisted, so the whole rifle looks a little big ugly, maybe add a scope in future will make me feel more comfortable.4. Though many small problems there need be adjust, but the price is so affordable, I believe it is still a good deal. But.....After the rifle first test, I find the price changed: I spent $87.99, now $79.99, $8 dollars lower already. En....

This is a great buy for the price. It is one of the most accurate air rifles I have had. I was actually amazed on how accurate it is. Great for back yard planking not too loud. I don’t know how will it would make for a pest control but I guess if you use some light weight pellets then maybe small squirrels or rats. I honestly can’t tell you how many shots I was getting out of it because I lost count. It holds up rather well in 50 degrees Fahrenheit weather for a co2 gun. Now my only complaint is that the iron sight was bent a little. I’m not to worried about it since I use a scope. By the way you would HAVE TO GET YOUR OWN scope for it. I would definitely recommend getting the Beeman qb 78s.
