These are useless. Bought a while ago and finally had a chance to use after boat came back from maintenance. They are designed only for 30 degree rod holders only. That is not necessary bad, but they don’t stay in place. They rotate so your drinks will fall off. There is no securing mechanism with the short shaft and rely on the widened base which is wishful thinking. My older adjustable holders’ shafts reach the rod holder pin and are fixed into it so they don’t rotate. I will see if I can come up with something they can be used for, and if not will be thrown into the recycling bin since I am past the return date.

I liked that this cup holder required no holes to be drilled and no fasteners to use it. Of course, you do need to have a 30 degree angled flush mount rod holder on your boat in order to use it. Just so happens that my boat has 4 of them so I had to decide which one I wanted to use today. LOL. This dual cup holder can also be used to hold other items. In particular, a set of binoculars. I think if you take the cans out you can fit a set of binoculars in without a problem Just be careful because in rough water, I would be concerned that the binoculars and maybe even the cans could get bounced out. Small tool like pliers or hook removers could also be kept close at hand in the cup holder.

This BEER BUNG boat cupholder is such a cool accessory. It’s a birthday gift for my son who bought a new boat last year and he cannot wait for boating season to start. What he will love is that this inserts inside of a rod holder. Knowing him, he would never drill through the fiberglass to fasten a different style holder. This way he can also move it around wherever he has a rod holder or where company is sitting. I like that it is molded into one solid piece so that the stem cannot break off. It’s also convenient that the divider in the center can slide up and be removed in case he is accommodating a larger cup. It’s made of polypropylene, which will float in case it were to topple overboard. That’s surprising because this is a weighty and sturdy accessory.I’m sure my son will be bragging to friends that he owns this attractive, Australian cupholder! Recommend this unique gift

This is a simple and fast way to add a couple drink holders to your boat. It's well built and sits nice and flush on top of the rod holder. It can't rotate once it's sitting on the gunwhale of the boat so it's pretty stable. The best part of this thing is that it's not permanent so you can throw it in when you've got people on board or stow it when you're fishing. Might work well for a sandbar cupholder if you've got a rod holder for the sand.

So the boat comes with a couple of helm area cup holders, but none in the area you sit and grill in etc.This should do the trick nicely. I am not sure about the claim about it floating so you don't lose your drink, but I am curious if it can float while holding your drink (I highly doubt it)It is a nice smooth white plastic, and seems well made. The UV protection will hopefully keep it from yellowing over time.

This cup holder fits right in the rod holder and securely holds the drinks. It’s well made and seems like it’ll last a long time. Bravo.

The holder does a great job of staying in the rod holder when the boat is still. but it constantly spins putting itself in a position to eventually work itself out while driving.
