Very cheaply made. When you screw the lid on it just keeps turning till it fall off. Will fall apart in your wort. Don't buy!

I used this in my wide mouth 1 gallon to strain my primary. I just set it in put the tube in and auto siphoned ( yes I sterilized the strainer....it does take a bit for your solution to dry out of the mesh) I dont use the cap. Sturdy and well strained off my blackberry primary.

Used it for dry hopping and worked well. Enough room for hops to expand and for liquid to circulate through hops. Lid is a little flimsy.

I love this thing. Easy to fill, easy to clean, you can fit like 6 oz of hops if you need to, and dry hopping in the corny keg is easy and painless. I just tied a bit of dental floss to the ring on top and then dropped it in. If you use those stupid nylon mesh bags or those little mesh tea ball things, buy this and throw those things in the trash.

This may be OK as a hop filter in the boil, but I do NOT recommend it for keg hopping. The top is unfiltered with some holes, so small particles make their way through the filter, and into your glass. I had to stuff a coffee filter in the top to fix the problem.

This works great! A bit of a pain to pull it out of hot wort to add hops but worth it. All thats left in the bottom of the boil kettle is the cold break resulting in cleaner wort moving into the fermenter. Works great for dry hopping (unless you're using carboys). Beer clears faster in the fermenter and allows for cleaner yeast pulls.

This is exactly what I was wanting to dry hop in my kegs! Plenty of room for hops and it just fits perfect in the opening of the keg. I had a smaller one in the past that was a problem because I couldn't get enough hops in it. But this is great. A word of caution on any of these dry hop containers. The hops do expand a lot when they get wet, so, don't just pack them in, it will be a waste because you need beer to flow past them.
