First time I used this the u bolt threads stripped out and it was completely worthless. I’ve always had good luck with the threaded through bolts but this was cheaper so figured I’d give it a go. Ended up wasting my time and money.

Easy to install. Functions as advertised. Quality construction. Fair price. Hard to beat all that.Note: The diameters of the flat washers provided were too small. I had the right size in my spare washers stash so this wasn't an issue. QC could do a better job to ensure the correct washers are provided. This didn't affect my rating though.

This bracket is a must-have if you want to ensure that your bike rack does not rattle. I have a conventional bicycle which doesn't require an expensive heavy duty rack . All you need is a good pair of straps to hold the bike down . The bracket will do the rest . Literally , nothing moves .

I bought two. one for a friend, one i used on my boat and all is good, the other my friend used on a 38' pull behind trailer, his came loose and he tightened it up and then tightened up again and broke the u bolt , I still have not had any issues . i like it and I use it with a hitch anti rattle locking pin. I was not there to know all the details from my friend, but it works great for me !

I'm kind of new to the world of towing. I purchased a hitch mounted cargo carrier and installed it into my hitch receiver. I immediately noticed some wobble. I installed one of these and the wobbling was completely removed and the connection was much more solid. I went to the hardware store and purchased two more nuts. I wish it would have come with my cargo carrier. Anyway, I feel that it was money well-spent.

Was tired of "wagging" hitch accessories (bike, canoe, and cargo racks and various 2" adapter components). Bought four (4) of these for $11 each - half the going price of other brands! Well they just went up $2 - now wish we had bought more... See photo cleanly made, semi-flat black powder-coated steel clamping plate with smooth hardware zinc plated shackle bolt, w/chromed nuts, also washers, and lockwashers. If you leave it on outside in the weather, plan to hit it with rattle-can paint occasionally to keep it looking nice. China made like most other hitch tighteners.
