  • 🌱GIVE YOU A NEW LAWN: This high-performance lawn aerator tool will help you loosen the soil by hand coring to reduce soil compaction & thatch, at the same, allowing air, water, fertilizer, and other nutrients to get down to the root area and enhancing the drought and heat resistance of turf. It also can stimulate root growth by "pruning" the roots, allowing the lawn to get more air again and help the plants to grow better, so you can say goodbye to the dry and yellow yard!
  • 🌱4 Spike TINES DESIGN, SAVE YOUR TIME & EFFECT: Our manual aerator is designed with 4 tip-edge tines. The 4 spike coring tines work at the same time, which can greatly improve work efficiency and save you time & effort . If your soil is hard and dry, please pre-soak your lawn so the yard aeration tool can work best. When using the plug aerator, if you can't penetrate it into the soil, please step on the foot pedal and shake it back and forth a few times, then you will penetrate the soil easily
  • 🌱REDUCE YOUR FATIGUE: 40" tall core aerator eliminates sore knees from kneeling or back strain from bending. At the same time, The “T” BAR handle is convenient to grip and provides an extra grip & enough comfort while aerating, making it ideal for long work periods. The wide foot plate maximizes downward force and allows for quick and comfortable pushing while maintaining body balance for safety while working, ideal for small areas and around plants.
  • 🌱FINE CRAFTSMANSHIP: Our handles are made of high-quality white willow from high latitudes and cold regions, the grass is hard and has high toughness, shock resistance, and wear resistance. The high-quality stainless steel coring tines are so strong and durable that they will not bend even when used for high-intensity work. The lawn dethatchers are polished and lacquered to reduce dirt adhesion & easy to clean, enough to last you 10 years or more!
  • 🌱 YOU GET:1* Berry&Bird MANUAL LAWN CORING AERATOR Tool that is a good helper for long-term labor and perfect as a gift for father & husband.30-day free replacement, our worry-free 10-year warranty, and friendly customer service.

This is a great aerator for small areas of lawn that need aerating. Since it is manually operated, it can be physically challenging, but it does hold up to repeated uses. Well made.

This is extremely well built and premium quality. Unfortunately, it does pull cores occasionally but the dirt does clog and the two center tines are blocked by the bar. A redesign to eject the dirt out the side of the tines would work wonders! I'm buying the $119.99 Landzie instead.

the tubes should increase in diameter as the cores go up the tubes -- I'm aware that all of the specs. would have to increase due to an increase in diameter at the top of the tubes -- the bar at the top of the tubes is just wide enough to accommodate the welds and it wouldn't make any sense to decrease the diameter of the core hole -- I haven't had any rain to speak of so the SC clay is hard to penetrate normally but even harder in late February -- you really got to put some effort into getting a 4" core -- it would be easier on the plugger and the operator if the plugs would slide up the tube -- in my small test area I hade to stop every 2nd or 3rd plunge to use the included tool to push the plugs out -- that said, the holes this makes are perfect -- nice and big, deep and spaced well -- if using this gets more efficient in moist ground, I'll update but I think you would have to have perfect conditions in the ground for this to work well -- I really like how it is put together -- the welds are strong and the quality wooden handle is nice -- the slanted penetration angles are sharp enough to get it started then it backs up and doesn't allow the 2nd plug to push the 1st one out and you get a hole that is compacting the soil instead of loosening it -- I really want this to work and hope that some damp soil makes it so

This would be a good tool for a very small garden or an extremely dedicated gardener. For more than a small area this tool is an enormous amount of work. The tines are sharp but you really have to stand on the tool to get it to pierce the thatch of the lawn and actually perform aeration. Then the hollow tines are full or mud/dirt plugs that you have just removed from the yard. But the plugs do not fall easily from the tines and must be individually pushed out with the provided tool. We found that it was necessary to push from both the top and the bottom of the tine to get all the mud out. We had thought that using the tool in wet ground would be easiest since the ground would be soft. Soft ground does make it easier to push the aerator into the lawn but it makes it harder to get the plugs out of the tines. With just four tines, it would take forever to do anything but a very small yard. We have a large property and have a riding machine to aerate most of the lawn. But the small fenced area that surrounds the pool is not reachable by machine since the gates to the pool yard are too small. We hoped this would be a solution but it is not. It would take hours and hours to push the tool in, clear all the tines, move six inches and push it in again, clear the tines, move six inches, etc. etc. etc.I do have to say that this is a beautifully made, high quality tool that would last a lifetime of regular use. Unfortunately, we will be storing it in the potting shed and have to rent a manual push aerator to do the pool yard.

We also have a 3 hole aerator. In hopes of it being faster, we got this one as well. I would say, this one is definitely creates that fourth hole faster. The problem is, it's also harder to get in the ground? So I feel like it ends up. Kind of being a wash as far as time goes period I would say, if you are very strong, then this would be a great aerator for you. I think if you are not a very strong person like I am then I might suggest going with a 3 whole aerator period I do like that. This one is wooden. However, it does take probably a little bit more upkeep. And can't be left out like the steel ones, but it does have a better feel to it.Very heavy duty and high quality. We've even left it out many times and it has been rained on, and it still is in great condition and is very sturdy.5 out of 5 stara

It'll poke holes in the ground, but getting the dirt out is the difficult part.Take note of the bars above the two inside forks. This includes a tool for manually pushing dirt out, but it doesn't fit in those two on the non-sharp ends because of those bars. If you go to clear it the only other way (the sharp ends), you run the risk of stabbing yourself in the hands rather easily because the dirt is usually pretty stuck in there and it requires force.Do yourself a favor and don't buy any manual aerator with this sort of design.
