Can not live on the south during the summer without this top. Love it. The quality is great and it was super easy to put on, I can do it by myself which is great!

This top is treated as a permanent installation by Bestop which IMO is completely short sighted. I have another review on the channels required for the installation of this top which in itself is a PITA, and absolutely requires modification if you plan on using this top and your hardtop interchangeably. However with that being said, the channels essentially Have To Be installed with drilling and riveting. The screws provided are trash, throw them away. They will absolutely break off in your windshield frame requiring drilling anyway. Once the channels are installed, then you can work on the insane labor of sliding this top through the channel. My assessment of it being permanent is because if you otherwise want to reinstall your hardtop and full doors, you know.. incase it rains. You Have To remove the weatherstrip across the top of the windshield frame, which my bet is yours is 3M double side taped on like mine, and I don't have too many ~$15 rolls of that tape laying around to reinstall it every time my hardtop comes off to use this product. If you don't remove the weatherstripping, you have to perform the herculean task of pulling the top through the channeling while it grips the rubber in front of it getting ever harder and harder the more surface area it gains (greasing it helps but not by much). I'm 6'4" ~280lbs, and had to use practically my entire body weight and strength to pull the top through the channeling with someone feeding it from the other side due to this incomprehensibly short sightedness on Bestops behalf. This top should never be viewed as a permanent fixture and for something that certainly suits the throw it on when you take your hardtop off category this endeavor makes it essentially worthless. It was suppose to be a quick, fun alternative to getting baked by the sun should you feel like getting breezy in your jeep.. however it absolutely is laborious and impractical to even use. Though, to their credit.. it is constructed extremely well (I didn't bust any seems pulling on it like I did, which overall quality wise.. good for them) If it was any more expensive I'd return it immediately, however I'm sure sometime this summer when I can leave it on for a week or more without rain it'll make more sense.TLDR; This product being treated as a permanent fixture is extremely short sighted, and because of this you need to remove weatherstripping for your hardtop that otherwise makes installation an absolute PITA. Construction is strong but that's about the only thing that makes sense about this product.

Advertised to fit with door surrounds left on but will not. Stitch line on the front windshield rubber channel was too far back, would not really clip in tight.

Being a longtime CJ owner I wanted a traditional bikini top that I can carry in my TJ while the top is down in case of rain. The bikinis with the latch on headers are bulky and impossible to carry with you. Once you have the required header track installed... You can just simply slide in the top when it rains and your good to go

The material used matches the full top in texture and color. Using the suggested rail (additional item to purchase) the top fits the windshield well. I had to make two cuts in the pieces the wrap around the roll bar because I have installed an after market front roll bar kit that mounts to the cowl and floor.The tie downs for the rear did not fit as I had hoped. The only way I could get them fastened with the straps that are sewn on the top allowed the back half of the top to flop more than I cared for. I removed the roll bar mounted shoulder strap rollers and and added a tie down behind this roller bracket (bolted shoulder harness back in place). With the additional brackets for the straps the top fits as I had imagined. Even with this issue I would buy the same top again.
