We have a separate co2 monitor as well in the same room and the values conform. The bird dies at 1000 as the descriptions suggest.

Love the whole kinetic, health, visual concept. I think more things need to be like this, smart but simple. Only thing is... I guess I have really good air quality in my home as it has yet to flip upside down. I'm in the WNC mountains and I have been really worried about the air quality after all of the flooding from Helene. I've had it for a month and no movement beyond the initial boot up other than one test. I did test it by getting right beside it and breathing heavy against it for about 30 seconds and it did flip down. It flipped right back up a minute or so later. So, it does work and does what it says. I guess I wont complain, it just doesn't seem to have a purpose in my home. [Note: when it starts, it will go to the down position for about a minute. If you opened your windows and then a minute later it turns upright, that's just the booting, you haven't done anything.]I am a data junkie so half of me would still love the ability to see trends, recorded levels, find the triggers. I also wish it could read and respond to particulate readings as well but it does not, only Co2.Saw they have a wood one, which is really cool. The wood wasn't available at ordering so I went with the Dune color, which ended up being more of a yellow than a sand. I may make my own wooden bird to attach.Ultimately I recommend this maybe for smaller homes or homes with a lot of people. Then you can look over at your in-laws and say something like, quit breathing all the good air, when it flips upside down.Build quality is definitely better than I expected. Like a higher end fire alarm if you know what I am talking about. The bird has to be light so I wont fault that, again would have preferred the wood I think.I hope this company comes out with more gadgets like this.

We have been using the Birdie monitor for the past month and have been pleasantly surprised. Was brought here by social media ads and was happy to find it available on Amazon. It’s small enough to be unobtrusive yet the design is clean and Scandinavian-esque. Functionally it appears to work well, whenever we are cooking with a gas stove or running the heater with windows closed we watch the bird flip upside down. Signaling to us that it is time to open a window and let some fresh air in, and right on cue as fresh air comes in the Birdie goes back in place. We also had a digital display CO2 monitor on hand to verify the accuracy of the Birdie and all checked out for us.Battery life hasn’t been an issue at all so far and we haven’t had to charge it since the initial setup. Price is obviously way higher than a regular CO2 monitor however those looking for value would be better off getting a digital display. But for the design and functionality we love the Birdie.

I was one of the original folks in their crowdfunding campaign, when the product was still named Canairi, still use it to this day and this review is based on an additional purchase of a new one gifted to my 94 year old neighbor. My neighbor recently went to the hospital, was sent home with an oxygen tank, but has been increasingly going without oxygen based on doctor's orders. As you can imagine, we will had concerns about the air quality in her home while she is tapering herself off oxygen. Sure enough, we were correct in that concern because in less than 24 hours the birdie had its first death without the stove/oven being used and no windows/doors opened. Another instance when it died was when family members were grilling out back and left the sliding door open and they quickly noticed, making sure they then were shutting the door after coming in/going out. I truly believe that this has eased the minds of family members who are spending less time with her and she finds the birdie to be a cute addition to her home that is in the main room she sits in daily.

My family is very satisfied with this product! It is a gift from me to them. The factory video is very informative. And my family didn’t realize that their basement area needed to be ventilated practically daily, as a birdie is falling down by itself daily and the birdie is getting up by itself just after the room is ventilated with fresh air from open windows! Yes, definitely great tool! And who doesn’t like the yellow bird? Everyone just loves it! Yes, recommend it.

Super easy to set up and it works! We set our up and after charging it and mounting it the bird fell down. We opened windows and about 10 minutes later the bird went upright. People have commented how cool it look, going to buy as a gift for a family member as well.

This little bird has been a great addition to my home. Works well. Still on my first charge so can’t speak to battery life. It is very aesthetic on the wall compared to standard devices. I get comments about it all the time. Shipping was pretty long but no regrets. So order ahead if gifting.
