I was wary of trying a guitar strap that was very inexpensive for the very reason I discovered. The adjuster buckle is made of an abs resin or plastic which functions very well, but has some flex. This makes me avoid it for my expensive, valuable guitar and instead has me relegating this strap to light duty use. I will use this on a practice guitar which is lighter in weight than my standard electric.
