The wood is beautiful quality with a very fine texture. Looks great as a mantle or table top piece. Hold incense but I would say it does drop pretty far from the burning point so it can fall onto table. Mostly happens at the beginning.

This is the best-looking incense burner I've ever owned. I the simplicity, the wood quality is nice, and it works great. I really like it and prefer it over standard holders. It's a great value, great size, highly recommend.

This modern walnut incense tray is beautifully crafted and made with high quality wood in a matte finish. The hole fits both stick and solid incense sticks. It works well to catch ash, keeping it off the tabletop surface. The holder came in a nice cardboard box and the quality of the holder is gift-worthy.

Pros: This incense holder is simple but nice. The wood has good grain and for the most part is will sanded and finished. The wood is a darker brown with black grain sprinkled throughout. I used 8 inch incense sticks and the base caught all the ash. I used this to replace a canoe style incense holder and this looks better and takes up less space. Fit and finish for the price is a good value.Con: I am sorry to say that the item came with a couple scratches on the surface of the wood. They are small, but they still take away from the aesthetic appeal. Notice in the photo the white spot at the 2 o'clock position to the center hole. It is a bummer because otherwise this is a 5 star product.

I wouldn't say this is a universal incense holder as the incense sticks with 1 narrower end do lean quite a bit and therefore drop ashes outside the circular catch area. However, I recently found a bulk pack of near 2mm wide incense sticks and realized that all my tray-style incense holders have a very narrow pinhole. When I attempted to use my existing tray-style holders on these larger incense sticks, the sticks either broke (while I was trying to insert them) or the end burnt my tray. I included a collage of photos to better show what I mean. The new incense sticks are solid, near 2mm diameter, from end to end. I knew I needed an incense burner with a larger stick holder and this worked perfectly. The incense is held upright and burned so much more slowly, allowing me to enjoy it longer. All the ashes were caught in the circular dipped area making for an easy cleanup. And the metal holder ensured that I didn't leave any burn mark behind, whereas these newer incense sticks burn all the way through. If I try to use my other incense sticks in this holder, they lean considerably (well beyond the end of the circle, dropping ashes on my table) because the narrower stick isn't supported well in the large holder... so I wouldn't consider this a universal holder, but I am grateful to have found a way to safely burn the larger bulk package of sticks. The wood is beautiful and it doesn't look like a traditional incense holder, so I do like the aesthetic and simplicity of the design when storing it on my shelf when not in use.

This incense holder is really nice and made from real black walnut wood. Each one looks a little different because of the natural grain, which makes it feel special. It’s not just for incense—it also looks great on a shelf or table. What I Like:Made from solid wood with natural grain, so every piece is a little unique. The design is simple and clean—easy to match with any room.It catches the ash well and keeps things tidy.Concerns:You’ll need to wipe it down now and then and use a bit of wood wax to keep it looking good. It’s better for one incense stick or cone at a time—not for burning a bunch at once. This is a simple, good-looking incense holder that works well and looks nice in any room. It’s well made, easy to use, and adds a calming feel wherever you put it.

This wooden incense burner exceeded my expectations. It’s beautiful, handsomely turned, highly polished walnut, with a metal insert to prevent the wood from being charred by the incense stick. The insert fully encases the stick at the bottom, which may seem a no-brainer/given, but you really never know until you have it in hand. I can vouch for the quality, it’s very nicely made. This would fit in any decor style, and will likely last you a lifetime if you care for it., so It has a good heft to it, and is super functional. Highly recommended!

This Migaku Home Black Walnut Incense Holder is so beautiful in its simplicity. Made from a solid piece of black walnut wood, sculpted and sanded to silky smooth perfection. The natural wood grain is gorgeous and unique in every piece. There is a fitted brass insert to hold the incense stick and prevent the wood from getting burned, with a gently recessed surface to collect the ash. As an artist, I have a deep appreciation for skilled artisans who are passionate about their craft and share their creations with the world. This is a great way to support a talented artist. There is such a calm, serene, and zen feeling you get when you look at this or hold it in your hand. The shape is reminiscent of a jade bi, or stone disc with a hole in the center, which represents heaven. I have a huge bi on display in my home. This incense holder fits perfectly with my decor and will be enjoyed for many meditations and quiet, peaceful moments. A big thank you to Master Liu for making this wonderful piece of art, and I am honored to have it. It is worth every penny, and more.
