Bought this for a older vehicle with an aftermarket stereo which has an AUX in, but doesn't have Bluetooth. It paired very easily and worked surprisingly well. The power on/off is recognized by my Android phone, and pauses/resumes whatever I'm listening to the same as it would in my other vehicles with native Bluetooth. Overall, I'm VERY satisfied with the product.Despite giving this 5 stars for my use case, and being perfectly happy with its price/performance, here are some notes which may apply depending on your needs:--- The included aux cord is only about a foot long. It's fine if your DC outlet is close to your radio. If it's not -- such as in the lower part of the center console -- you may need a longer aux cord or a USB extension cable.--- The indicator LEDs are in a location which makes them hard to see if your DC plug is in a recess. It's only an issue when pairing the device, and I understand that they were primarily going for compactness when they designed it, but it would have been helpful to have the LEDs on the end where the aux cord plugs in. [If you're going to be frequently pairing/unpairing with multiple devices, this could be significantly more annoying.]

This is basically a Bluetooth device to link your phone to a car radio equipped with an AUX RCA input and a USB input , not sure if it will work with just one of them, I think the USB is only to take power and all the data/signal is going through the RCA plug but the info about it is really limited, it also supposed to have a hands-free phone feature, but I couldn't make it work. which leads me to my complaint about the user guide, the lettering is so small that is almost unreadable, information on the device is really scarce and even when I know is not a complicated item, it should be better explained. In my unit the Leds ended on the opposite side so I couldn't see which one was one or off, the button to pair BT should be of a different color than the case, since everything is so small is hard to see and reach the button.

Thought I should upgrade my old car stereo with a different way to get my music on the cars speakers.Plug right into USB A port and plug into the AUX port in the car and then turn on, connect with instructions provided and you are good to go!Device remembers and auto-connects when power is switched on with the car.Very small device but works soo well.

Bluetooth Adapter 5.4 Wireless Audio Receiver Portable Hands-Free Car Kit Music Receiver with AUX 3.5mm Cable for Home/Car Stereo Sound System works wonderful.I got this nifty adapter to turn my non-bluetooth boombox speaker and my Bose system into BT-capable to play music from my phone and iPad Pro.Its easy to connect & pair, just plug into ur USB port & pair up & play ur tunes.I wanted to play music thru my boombox speaker on my deck without extension cords and this adapter works beautifully. I also paired it with my older Bose sound system and it works great. New life for old gadgets.Description says u can use this in ur vehicle to play tunes, answer ur phone etc. but I already have BT in my car so have not used that feature.I love it for its value, small size, versatile uses & multi-functionality, the ease of use, no extra addtl software needed, plug n play platform and portability to take with me on-the-go to a party indoors or out. Great for Karaoke machines too.Handy & essential lil adapter that breathes new life into ur vintage gadgets!!

The promise of this product is that it can convert cars that can play audio from MP3 files on USB sticks into Bluetooth audio compatible. Unfortunately on my 2013 Infiniti g37, this didn’t work, instead my head unit flashed “unplayable file” over and over. This might be usable using the aux cord, but unfortunately my car does not have an aux input. I love the idea, but since it doesn’t actually work for what I need, it’s one star from me, dog.
