Bottom line: it just worked; plugged it in, paired with phone, Android Auto on the car screen.Test case:The vehicle in question is a 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz (which only supports AA via a USB port, not BlueTooth) and a Motorola Android phone. About the only potential snag, was needing to tell my phone to disconnect from the Santa Cruz before Android Auto appeared on the car's display.And ... everything worked just as it was supposed to, as far as I can tell.Additional thoughts:In all honesty, I will likely not use this much in my car (at least until the nav system subscription expires) as it has a pretty good nav system, and I have a very effective car mount for the phone. However, I fly a lot for work, and that's where I think this thing will shine. It's very small and compact, and my phone is already paired to it. So, get a rental car, plug in the adapter, boom, done. No need to pair the phone to the car (and brands are all slightly different), no repeated requests to share message and contact list data with the car, etc. And, no need to delete the paired phone from the car at the end of the rental. So, faster, and probably a little more secure.

WOW! I'm very impressed with this adapter! Not is it small. easy to install, easy to use and affordable but it's also fast and reliable. The device boots up super quick and connects to my phone pretty much within seconds of me starting the car. It works just as fast and reliably as the wired connection. It is so nice not having to take my phone out of my backpack so I can use the navigation or play my music. I am recommending this adapter to all my friends with wired Android Auto or Apple Carplay in their cars. It is truly a high quality device that does exactly what it says and performs excellently! I am one happy and satisfied customer! I will update this review if anything changes.

Easy to use. Doesn't take up much room at all. Connected to my phone and Bronco without any issue. So far, I have had no issues with it missing out or not connecting immediately. The device is small and does not take up space or have any annoying cords that get in the way. It blends into the background and is easy to remove. Most of the other ones I have tried are bulky or take up room. This is great!

Works as expected. I didn't need a USBC extension as my vehicle has the USBA plug in the glove compartment and this adapter has a USBA connector. Set up was quick and easy and intuitive. Minimal delay when switching apps, but within the apps I don't notice a delay. Once set up, my phone auto connects when I get in the car. I would purchase again
