This BT audio dongle is apparently used to make an older audio source without Bluetooth capability able to be connected to a speaker via Bluetooth connection via the dongle. I was able to pair the dongle to my smartphone, which worked quickly and seamlessly. I was disappointed as I was hoping to use this to upgrade the functionality of an older Bose stereo that lacks Bluetooth, but since it also doesn’t have a USB-A input, it did not meet my need. I did not have an old speaker that met the necessary conditions so unfortunately I was not able to test the sound quality. All in all this has a very limited set of use cases and the posting could be clearer as other reviews have also indicated.

Dongle would not connect to my bluetooth headset. It would connect with it directly plugged in. However, this is useless as I already have an audio jack on my pc. I just needed it for bluetooth and it does not work for that.

This was a free product. However, I have no incentive to be biased towards or against this product.Either I misunderstood what "2 in 1" means or the marketing language is not exactly clear. I grabbed this so that my wife could have Bluetooth connection on her computer for a wireless controller. It did not work and it appears that the only thing it is good for is passing audio between devices via Bluetooth.Since the marketing write up wasn't clear and since it couldn't be used for what we needed it to, I gave it 1 star. If I had a use for it, then maybe I'd have went with 3 stars. Definitely nothing higher than that.

This was not what I was expecting when I ordered this item. I understand now that this is only a receiver and cannot transmit sound (music or podcasts). My daughter was kind enough to let me plug this into her speaker for her computer. It seemed to work well at transmitting music from my phone to her speaker. I can't tell you how well it works long term. One star removed for the description not being clear.

Did not work for me since it requires its own power source. My hope was to use an aux plug from my headphones into this transmitter, hoping to effectively turn my headphones into bluetooth headphones. Does not work for that purpose.

I recently purchased the Mini USB Bluetooth Receiver, hoping to use it as a Bluetooth receiver for my old TV to connect with newer Bluetooth headphones. Unfortunately, upon further research, I discovered that it does not function as a transmitter for TVs. This was quite disappointing as I was looking forward to using my new headphones with the TV.Despite this setback, the receiver works well for its intended purpose. It easily connects to speakers or other audio devices, allowing wireless audio streaming from your Bluetooth devices. The setup is truly plug and play, and I experienced no latency issues, which is a significant plus for any audiophile. The Bluetooth 5.4 technology ensures a stable and strong connection without noticeable lag, making it a great choice for enhancing your music experience.In summary, while it didn't serve my original purpose as a transmitter for the TV, it performs exceptionally well as a Bluetooth receiver for speakers and audio systems. If your primary need is to stream music wireless to an older speaker system, this adapter is a reliable option. Just be aware that it's not suitable for converting your TV into a Bluetooth transmitter.

Tries to use it as a USB recording device, but no such fiction. Other receivers in hand tend to work as sound devices by USB. This one only gets power and outputs to wire. Otherwise works great if wire out all that is needed.Can be connected by Bluetooth from any other device and broadcast itself as “YET-M2”.
